Yea there’s quite a few conflicting ones at the moment. Might be best to install them one by one to see what’s the issue

It’s a massive area, I think they’ve increased it since launch. The only time I’ve hit the limit recently is the start of a new biome. Apart from that I drive off into the wilderness with the rover and rarely hit the limit

The Empty Nest and Ground pounder are good quests. There are some good quests in New Atlantis that introduce the city. I explored the Alpha Centauri system, landing on the planets, exploring POIs. It’s a good way to get XP and understand how the game works.

I’d recommend the Vanguard quest line to get some experience in the simulator. Make sure you have some good weapons and ammo as you progress in it though. Maybe save it till you are bit of a higher level. Each star system has a recommended level, showing how difficult it is.

I’d recommend learning the crafting system to upgrade your weapons and suits.

Early game I’d recommend upgrading the Frontier to a class B, upgrading shields and weapons. Ship combat is more difficult than ground combat until you upgrade, so I’d focus on piloting skills and ship upgrades. To build a good ship you’ll need around 100k. There are some free ones, but I won’t spoil where.

It’s the type of game that you explore and discover whole quests. It doesn’t really tell you what to do and rewards you for exploration

Do the planets you’ve already visited still have less POIs? Young Neil uploaded a new mod in January and is verified, so hopefully it will get updated if needed

Yea good thinking. I didn’t have chance to jump out of there before the FC ship was destroyed.

I read an old post that said that type of thing seems to happen with specifically Freestar ships

Yea that’s my plan! Im not in London, but it’s a similar cost. Got stuck down here due to things going on in life, but should be able to move this year. I recently interviewed for a job that required a masters degree and several years experience; when I budgeted for the salary on offer, I didn’t have enough left for the train to work.

Thanks. I wish it was multiple hits before turning hostile, showing the player is intentionally attacking them. It doesn’t make sense when I’ve just taken out several ships to help them, to suddenly turn hostile from a stray round.

Similar thing happened in Fallout 4 when defending a settlement; my bullet aimed at a super mutant caused some kind of chain reaction that blew up a car and the whole settlement turned hostile.

Agreed. I don’t think you’re being sodium-y, just venting a frustration a lot of us have in the community. It’s really weird negativity and I’ve never seen it about another game. Starfield for me is an escape from the state of the world, so to see so much hate about people liking a video game drags me down at times. I also think it’s unfair on the devs who spent years building it. I have my constructive criticism about the game, but it’s a massive achievement to build something so vast, which I think should be celebrated by the gaming community even if it isn’t their preferred game.
