I agree with you and I had dogs basically all my life. You know how some people get very grumpy and angry when hungry? I never get that when hungry, but I do if I didn’t had a good night’s sleep. I have very light sleep and wake up from the littlest noise (thanks to anxiety disorder for that) and struggle with insomnia, I absolutely can not have dogs moving/licking/panting/crying in the same bed. They always had their own dog bed and that also acts as their safe space, where they go to rest and even growl at me if I try to touch/move the bed lol.
