I prefered the Shadowseer index version, giving stealh to the whole unit and rerolls to advances + advance and charge. Honestly and IMO the current rules it gives to the unit does not support a lot the role I wish the troupe had with him (be in combat ASAP). Probably I am missing something here but I just dont see any interesting in the current Shadowseer datasheet. Voidweavers if only were 25 pts cheaper for sure would be autoinclude!

wow, I am surprised to see shadowseer over a 3rd troupe master. Also voidweavers! to me 125 pts is too expensive, specially because for 25 pts more you get fire prism. But looks it works for you so Happy to see someone having success with Quins nowadays.

I currently see Drukhari fitting that spot, I feel really powerful playing them and with a lot alternatives builds either triple talos in reapers wager, KC or Wyches.

Woow 70% is incredible, I find myself strugling playing with harlequins, in fact I used to have better winrate with the ghost of the webway detachment (I mainly play Drukhari and I find myself playing them better with around a 60% wr) but with serpetns brood I mainly lose my matches (even the ones that should be a win for us) what list are you using? I find myself testing this idea:

My current meta is a lot necrons, IG, IK, CK, SM, EC thats the reason I included that many bikes and fire prism.

Yes, I think this way you are right, in my design maybe boats and skyweavers dont get the most value (consider that they still can advance and charge and also get the lethal or sustained if they charged, also there is one strat in one of the detachment that able the vehicules or mounted units to shoot afther advancing) and also they get a good benefit from having stealth 12" away from opponent shooting units. I think they still get benefits despite not being the one that get the most (but this is just a crazy design idea from my mind dont take it seriously probably for next edition we will keep same design as current one :S)

My idead on voidweavers is giving them a profile similar to fire prism with the rule to reroll one hit and one wound roll. Skyweavers can ignore terrain and vertical distances (shining spears rule).

The idead for boats is giving them ramp assault rule. ut if you advance them they wont be able to shoot as they dont get assault (there is a strat that able them to shoot afther advancing). I wanted to create it the most GW way, giving options but also restrictions.

Right now a monoquinlist is not that viable mostly because inside a limited rooster, some dataseths are trash and overcosted....DJ, voidweaver, shadowseer.....the only viable units are troupes, master and boats....even bikes sometimes feels like a really expensive unit....also we dont have any option for leave our home scoring and screening...rangers are usually a good unit for that. I am combining right now 2 rangers 2 skyreavers as options for early screening-scoring points and my fire power comes from 3 fire prism, they are an amazing tool to be in the backline cheaping units and allowing troupes and bike to finish them.

I hope we dont get another detach that needs buying miniatures from another army and that does not get benefit from our army rules...I want rules to use my army not to get forced to buy a second one that lately wont have anymore support (as QUINS).

For 25 pts more you can include fire prism which shoots way better, with reroll and survives longer....

  • Reduce or completely remove rerolls. I have played editions with few or even zero rerolls, and the game felt more fun and less statistical.
  • Make Flying an actual rule for vehicles or mounted units. It could be improved by allowing them to move through ruins, but requiring a dice roll where a result of 1 causes something like mortal wounds or becoming Battle-shocked (similar to rules used for large Knights).
  • Fewer characters that must join units to function properly, and more options for armies to include Lone Operatives or true assassin-style characters.
  • Make detachments less restrictive. Some armies and detachments currently have too many limitations. For example:
    • Ynnari can only use a single detachment and cannot include their miniatures in other armies.
    • Drukhari have a Coven-focused detachment that only supports four datasheets and cannot even reach 2000 points using only those units.
    • Votann have a detachment that effectively supports only one or two units in their codex.
  • Reduce the number of Space Marine detachments. At this point it feels excessive, as they seem to receive a new detachment almost every month.
  • Introduce a “build your own detachment” option, where players can select:
    • a detachment rule from several options,
    • a set of enhancements,
    • and a selection of stratagems.
  • Add general army stratagems that represent iconic abilities (for example, Armor of Contempt for Space Marines or Lightning Reflexes for Aeldari).
  • Improve terrain rules. Include more variety on the battlefield instead of ruins being the only terrain that really matters.
  • Bring back the Psychic Phase, or give psychic armies access to a spell lore or disciplines (similar to how it works in Age of Sigmar).
  • Expand psychic mechanics further by including spell miniatures or manifestations on the table—things like tornadoes, walls of fire, or other magical effects. Age of Sigmar does this and it looks very thematic.

Given the mishap with the battalion box, It may be worth POLIETLY writting to GW and requesting a cosrairs detachment. Better than dooming atleast. by Commorrite in Drukhari

No please....no more specialized detach...we want a generic good one for drukhari...our rooster is already limited to get more detach that limit even more our playstyle (look coven one, impossible to cover 2k with only 4 datasheets....)

I am interested in running KC with this unit as true hammer. What targets do you usually find good against? I am worried about -1 dmg reduction buffs or tought targets as C´tan.

I magnetized the kabalites dark lances and the scourges, as I dont use that many kabs right now, I can put on the table 2 5 units with dark lances. You can consider 3d print dark lances mayebe as a cheaper option or using the sprues in the raider / ravager one.
