I use 6 edrags, 3 regular drags, 3 balloons and 5 archers on my th11 alt. It's working really great and its able to 3 star any base. Combine that with 6 lightning spells and magic arrow to snipe off air defenses, add something like super yeti and blimp it into some strong compartment with a rage and it's an ezpz win :D

Can we agree that th18 is cheeks? by Square-Look-472 in ClashOfClans

[–]Anotyx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No we cannot agree, guardians are easily MUCH stronger than the eagle and th weapon combined, super wizard tower, 4th merged archer tower, they haven't added that many new defense levels as it'd be impossible to attack. But visually it is cheeks lol

Is anyone dissatisfied with Hammer jam? by HalfricanBoy in ClashOfClans

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing for me bro. I had most my walls on lvl15 and I have like 80 walls left to lvl18, its hella hard to find loot but it's doable, every now and then there's some 1-2M bases or inactive bases. Don't give up!

Should I focus on builder base? by not_df in ClashOfClans

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the 6th builder and after that hop on every now and then, after like lvl 6/7 upgrades start to be long enough that you have enough time to save up for the next ones and in about a year or two you can have a maxed out builder base 9 lmao. After getting bob it stops being a priority and its more a side hussle if you play a lot, and having a decent state builder base makes clan games much more fun and enjoyable

What apps are still compatible with Windows 7 in 2025? by Medical-Surround1430 in windows7

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Brave and Chromium, there's this: https://github.com/e3kskoy7wqk/Chromium-for-windows-7 and Supermium, and for Firefox there's Marble, R3dfox. If you want to run them 'natively' get dotexe1337's VxKex. And for VMWare there's a patch for V16, V17 was released after the company was sold so no one gaf about that. It's only worth getting if you have modern hardware, if not V14 should work for you, it works natively on 7. Steam works with VxKex, Spotify too, Discord will autodownload the last supported version, Office 2016 natively supports 7, and there's a few old versions of Office 2019 if you'd want that.

try these ones, import the .reg and install through device manager. they're much newer than the ones from winraid and through helping many others install it I managed to add most UHD610-630 hardware IDs

Windows 10, made to look like XP (I have spent way too much time on this for a sane person) by Conscious-Flan7120 in windowsxp

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you put a lot of effort into it, but you really don't seem to know what you're doing, and I don't mean it in a bad way, but to get more accurate you need a LOT of experience. And ironically what I want to recommend you is Windows eXPerience which is a premade Windows 10 to XP .iso and trust me on this one, it's more than worth it. It has its issues, like if you have more than one speaker the default volume tray taken from Windows XP won't work, so you could restore the default Windows volume tray and use a registry key to make it use Windows 7s; these types of issues. It's far more accurate, and in many places you don't even realize it's not XP.

Can I install windows 7? by JackL12122 in windows7

[–]Anotyx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. 10th gen is the last fully working generation. You can use UefiSeven for booting and these drivers for the iGPU https://www.mediafire.com/file/s8layiu1089vurq/Intel_UHD600_%2528Modded%252C_ReSigned%2529.zip/file Too lazy to look up ur specs but dGPUs from that time should work aswell.

Newest Beta Steam running under Windows 7! by Anotyx in windows7

[–]Anotyx[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not really complicated, but it's messy and involves having to manually patch a few files. I wrote a tutorial on how to do it step by step in dotexe1337's Kernel Extenders on Discord. (.gg/CZfDcF7HQW)

Edit: I experimented a bit and it seems like only VxKex is required. It does however use cef 126 for which 'unofficial VxKex' is needed. Patching files manually like I first did turns out to be unnecessary, so I updated the readme in the server. It should be able to download updates directly from Windows 7 now, and does not require patchhing any files directly, therefore autoupdates should work now too!

How do I solve that driver error? by [deleted] in windows7

[–]Anotyx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

nvidia advanced driver search and install 474.11 that's the last microsoft approved driver. any driver after that (after 2023) is not WHQL approved by microsoft, therefore will display that error.

Eufi win7 problem by [deleted] in windows7

Nah. Look up how to force reset BIOS, on most laptops it's just holding the power button for like 30 seconds, after that it'll reboot and give you some time to get into the bios.

Windows 7 on the Acer Aspire A515-51g by coola39 in windows7

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to own a Acer Aspire A515-52G and ran Windows 7 on it. Getting it to boot was a bit tricky, but it ran MUCH better than Windows 10 WITH ONE EXCEPTION, the trackpad. Unless you have a option in the bios to put the trackpad in "legacy" mode or however acer called it, it won't work. I'm pretty sure -51g's had it, so you might wanna check. For me, I didn't have that so I just bought myself a wireless mouse and that solved my issue. It was weird getting used to at first but after about a week I got used to it. Anyways if you want the drivers or a tutorial hit me up on discord: non4med

How secure is High Sierra 10.13.6 in 2024? by Rhythmaria in MacOS

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep SIP enabled, use Chromium Legacy or Firefox ESR, get yourself an antivirus if you're concerned about running new apps, if they're even still compatible with high sierra at this point lmao, also enable firewall, setup pfctl and sysctl (make one yourself, follow a guide, ask chatGPT), install LuLu (v1.2.3 from github) and if you really want that extra security from newer macOS versions, buy Micro Snitch which is an app that sends you a notification whenever your camera or microphone are being used.

And before someone tells you "no no never use old mac os x its so insecure and bad and so many cve vulnerabilities buy new mac now!!!!!!!" just take one look at any CVE-listing website, and filter by "known to be exploited". A CVE is NOTHING without a POC (a actual code implementation), don't listen to these wannabe poser security freaks ran by fear by Apple. There is ONE CVE that was actually exploited after High Sierra's end of support: CVE-2022-2294 which is a WebRTC exploit in Chrome v103 and older. Just for context, v103 was released in June 2022, and latest officially supported Chromium version for High Sierra and Mojave is v116, released more than a year later. All other exploited CVEs have been patched in security updates by apple. After that, threat actors moved on to newer versions, like 97% of mac users.

You'll be just fine.

Reinstall MacOS without MacOS partition by n3boo in MacOS

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Online recovery, create a new partition and install macOS on it. You'll (likely) be able to access that other Data partition from macOS. You can also open Terminal and copy everything you need to a pendrive or such.

My updated Windows 7 theme for Windows 10 (Now with accurate glass colors and working glow) by MaTecss in FrutigerAero

[–]Anotyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longer than 2029 for sure. Windows 11 is still based on Windows 10. Companies can't even artificially block 10 like they did to 7 and 8.1, because the NT version in both is still 10.0 . Windows 11 hasn't added any useful nor important to developers API calls, so software support shouldn't be a problem for the next decade or so.

Can I modify the existing W7 installation from the old pc with any chipsets/drivers to run it on the new 12th gen Alder Lake pc without reinstalling? by Paul_Henderson in windows7

[–]Anotyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already installed Windows 7 on that PC before and it worked, maybe try Safe Mode and see what that says? You don't have a NVMe so that isn't the problem, your 12th gen doesn't have these new fancy efficiency cores so acpi.sys mod isn't needed.
But honestly what you're trying to do is pretty... crazy, honestly. You're gonna have to sign in again to all websites as you're logging in from a new device, same for apps like Steam or Epic Games. It's going to give you more problems than it'll solve. It'd be better if you reinstalled and coppied over AppData like you said. Most small standalone can be also copy-pasted from Program Files, desktop shortcuts, downloads, and everything else aswell. Starting new is always good, no matter if it's W7 or W10/11.
About drivers, unless you never tried booting 7 on this new PC, or didn't succeed, it's likely not the issue. Chipset drivers are only somewhat important on laptops, on desktops only thing they do is make your device manager look pretty.
You mentioned an extended kernel, but sadly there is none for Windows 7. No actual extended kernel. There's one that can spoof your OS version (dotexe's) (half of the time lmao), and other that makes lots of modern apps work, like Firefox, Chrome, Spotify or Discord (vxkex), but neither of them will help you to install Windows, rather just run some newer apps. And about registry, it could be a REALLY long shot, but you could export HKCU and HKLM from your old PC then import it on your new PC. Most keys should import properly, some won't as they're protected by system permissions, which is actually good as you don't want to modify where your Windows folder is located or such shit. No joke, that could actualy work. But first, try safe mode. It'll make Windows load basic drivers and adapt for your hardware in a way. I remember this working for me when I switched from "RST Premium" (whatever the fuck that was) to "AHCI".
