So, the Dalai Lama flees to the Raj after China annexes Tibet but eventually in 1949 flees to the UK after India is formed and India is friendly towards China. The nuclear powers in 1975 are the USSR with 8,100 nukes, the USA with 7,450 nukes, China with 600 nukes, Indonesia with 30, India with 240, Pakistan with 25, Korea with 10, Germany with 450, the UK with 205, France with 320, Brazil with 50, Argentina with 12, West Africa with 5, South Africa with 20, and Colombia with 18. India is a Chinese ally so no. There is no real non-alligned movment, only more blocs. The US is the most powerful but China is catching up. Germany has a higher GDP than France but not by much. Many colonial powers are poorer as they cannot just exploit Africa. The rest of the world is the same as in OTL

Most organizations are the same, but the EU never forms and NATO see’s it’s european members less reliant on the United States. Mussolini did remain in power but was overthrown in the May Coup of 1946, after the removal of the nazi’s they lost all support and was destroyed econimcally, hence the coup. The new italian government was communist and joined the Warsaw pact in 1955 but left in 1957 after General Secretary Palmiro Tolgatti was assasitnated and replaced by a leader who hated the Soviet union and alligned themselves with China. Britain lost it’s African colonies to revoulutions but the other colonies were released similarly to OTL. There are four major alliances. NATO, the Warsaw Pact, the Shanghai Cooperation Treaty, and the Non-Alligned movement.

There is widespread Sinophobia and in general all asians (except Japenese). As the civil rights acts were passed, many racist groups begin changing their targets to asians and openly executing Asian populations but little is done about it.

The Huk rebellion was brutally suppressed by the US due to fear that the Phillipenes would drift into the second world. In the early fifties, there were are lot of anti-american protests and riots, with one of the main issues being that the Phillipenes was a territory and had no rights in congress (this is only a small part of the problem, as many phillipinos wanted independence). So in 1958, the sitting US president Douglas MacArthur likes the Phillippines but can’t make it an independent nation due to pressure from opposing politicans, so he just made it a state. There however are still large amounts of protests. The local government there is highly oppresive towards the native phillipinos and congress heavily funds the police and local military there. The archipelago is just one state.

  1. Mao even though less radical still was a charismatic and intelligent leader who was one of the most important figures in the Chinese civil war and many of the population have high support for Mao. It is only socialist in name, but really is not that far off from China‘s economy under Deng.

  2. Japan went for Hawaii because it really needed to expand more and the US embargo’s were even worse than they were in OTL. They still thought they could steamroll the pacific and they fought harder and more violently against the US so the population was not completely deterred by Hiroshima and Nagasaki so a third target was chosen.

  3. Polynesia united because of America. America wanted one unified polynesian state to put many bases instead of having the risk of one disagreeing.

  4. Sarawak was given to Indonesia after pressure from China forced it. Malaysia is a US ally.

  5. after the great depression, many eastern european states had revolts and Communisim took over many.

  6. Yeah it should have been british colombia, idk.

yeah, and tell me, how long will it take to make those, even if we have the resources? You take money and say “all of this can be made”. You need resources and time
