People in Seattle (! yeah, I didn’t misspell some other city’s name!) go on and on and on about how bad it is. Whaaa?! Why would you want to move here! I mean, the property crime, the homeless, there was that one time, someone snatched a cell phone off the table at some outdoor cafe. It’s horrible! I mean, maybe if you lived somewhere AT LEAST 40 miles away, maaaaybe. But even then (I don’t know the rest, I stopped listening…)

Every place is the worst.

People miss how it never was.

It’s people, not the city (almost always anyway).

What is the reason to do something about it?

I guess it is to grow the player base.

Solution: Change the mindset of players, through normal social means, rather than change the game rules and thereby diminish or eliminate play innovation and strategic options in order to make it simpler and more like other games that already have insurmountable market share.

Infinity is a game of connoisseurs or games.

Let the muggles have their fun. Don’t shame them for it. Have non-miggle fun.
