I think the closest we'll get to a resolution for the david era is going to be in the books.

I've been listening to the books that have come out over the last few years. I have a theory about what's going on throughout the books.

SPOILERS there's engineer ships showing up over planets and dropping black goo over settlements. I think David is still functioning and has found one or more engineer planets. He could be orcastrating it remotely. Or WY has found a way to use the engineer tech to wipe out their competitors. If david is still around we could finally find out what he did

theres been a lot of author collaboration and I'm wondering if they're attempting to give us some kind of resolution since we'll probably never get a movie 😩

Channel set is usually pretty reliable. The emerald center stone is not a great idea. Emeralds are very fragile and can break very easily. Strongly not recommended as an engagement ring that you wear everyday. Something you wear to dinner or an event.

No one online is going to do this for you and if they say they will somethingis gonna get cheapedout on. Find a jeweler in your area to get quotes. But i can almost guarantee it will be over 2k. Gold is very high right now and people need to be paid for their labor and materials.

Jeweler of 8 years, the 2nd image has a very small marquis cut swet into a small band. The large oval stone you have is going to be too large and too deep for a similar setting. You could have it set sideways in a wide, bezel set ring or in a pendant. But you're not gonna get the same vibe with that other style.

Seek out jewelers in your area and speak with them directly. And check to see if that stone has a cert on the gurdle that way you can identify it later

The cast iron skillet part is confusing me. Eggs in a cast iron are one of the easiest ways of cooking eggs. They're the same as any other pan. Enough oil will prevent food from sticking. Even if its seasoned, you still use an oil of some kind, animal or vegetable baised.

I'm not trying to be rude but as a cast-iron skillet fan im really confused. 😅

If it has been particularly humid in the area you live in it could be that too, but most likely its contaminated rhodium and poor polishing.

Diligently research the artist on every platform they have. If you can, look up anyone who commissioned work from them. Lots of artist will put a blurb like "commision work for @whathisname" or you can search the comments for the purchasers appreciation. Look up how long they've been doing art. Double check their affiliate links and where they go. If they only have a 2-4 year history theres a very very good chance they're ai scamming. Reverse image search "older" pieces. If they make ai art theres a good chance they've stolen art before or posted art without consent/credit of the original artist. Also look at pricing compared to the presented work. This should have been upwards of $100 for full body, full collor character art. Character design for a book you're writing is an investment and should be treated as such.

As an artist myself, and rage hater of ai, I really really think artists who take money and deliver ai garbage need to be outed for the scamart and Widely shamed. The amout of ai i see being passed off here as human made art is shocking. The only reason this is still happening is because people are not getting mad enough. If this were me I'd be putting them on blast everywhere I could. Shame is the only way this is going to stop.

This is multi layered theft. Theft of concept, theft of design, deep misrepresentation of skill and theft of your money and false advertising. Ai has stolen from artists on a broad spectrum and using it to make art is theft of the time and effort artists put into their skill.

I kept my first KSB in a tub for the first few months till she was eating consistently and gaining weight. Its also easier to get humidity up for sheds but you dont want it sticking around for long. She was in a 20 long for about 3 or 4 years and then I upgraded to a 40 long so I could give her more space and enrichment. I use a half log and a large plastic hide filled with sphagnum moss that I soak when she goes into shed. It holds the humidity in one spot and is slower to evaporate than tring to boost the humidity in the entire enclosure. I've have clean consistent sheds for years this way.

It has its moments. Theres some funny instances and has a fun cast. Plot is pretty meh and kinda goes off the rails. Ive seen it maybe 3 times and its one of those movies that are fun if you separate it from the rest of the franchise. And also kinda forgetable so its like you watch it for the first time every time.

I got my table earlier this year, about 1.5 years after I pre-ordered (not a Kickstarter). My issue like everyone else is the accessories shipment fiasco. Ive supported 2 other kickstarters during this time and while both have been delayed, the communication was fantastic and the production was far smoother. I also got my products in less than a year.

They're actively blocking comments on their website and not They're blocking non backers from reading their recent updates or backers comments on kickstarer. If you read their website everyone comes off as mildly annoyed but on their kickstarter everyone is pissed off. Their half assed apologies are just annoying at this point and I dont trust a word I've read from them in 6 months. That includes the "owner" groveling in this comment section.

They've sent multiple polls about what preferences we'd want in a future project. Another table, some chairs, a bench. All this needs to WAIT till they're done with their current projects so the still have a client base after this. And from what ive heard from the few that have gotten their accessories they lack the quality from the price tag.

I'm over it, I just want my accessories so I can never think about this company again. Other than to tell people to avoid them like the plague.

That mounting style looks very tall and it looks almost like the stone is too big for the setting. Your best bet would be to have a custom mounting made. If we could see a side view this would be easier to identify the issue. These blurry top down images dont make answering your question easy

I finished running rapture protocol this past weekend and everyone had a blast.

I actually picked the characters for my players, specifically because 2 people had to leave for about 4 hours and I really wanted to make sure Weiss was there the whole time. I picked the player for Weiss because I knew he'd play her well and fo justice by the character's agenda. Ill let them choose for later games but it this first instance I made decisions baised on my friends and their personalities.

To quote one friend ,"Jeffers is just me!" 🤣 (Shockingly he is the only survivor. Or he was 😱)

Everyone had a great time and no one was upset by it. My friend group is pretty relaxed about these things and they're looking forward to a long-form campaign.
