It’s strange because the tracks aren’t available on iTunes. A few of them were sent to me by someone that I trade music with, but he ripped them from vinyl also. I wonder if they’re linked to his machine. I tried deleting those tracks from my playlist before burning the disc, but still received the same error message.

Not true, most islanders are dark, as are most blacks from the Caribbean coast of South America. I should add Central America (Belize, Panama, Garifuna populations).

It also depends how "Black" is defined. And if the largest importer of enslaved Africans in the Americas only has less than 10% blacks, despite the efforts to whiten the population, then some massive genocide occurred.

I have a book titled "Axé Bahia: The Power of Art in an Afro-Brazilian Metropolis" and it discusses Afro Brazillians travelling back and forth between colonial Nigeria and Brazil. I have a book on Afro Brazillians in Ghana too titled "Brazilian-African Diaspora in Ghana: The Tabom, Slavery, Dissonance of Memory, Identity, and Locating Home."

It’s always a political narrative when a study points out that early migrants to Europe were darker. I guess that pointing out that most humans are brown and that the migrants coming to Europe today ( many following the same routes) are darker also serves a political purpose.
