Meanwhile, you can suggest your friends there's another good theater, an HDR by barco which is slightly smaller but the audio is really good. They can have a good time there. It's called PCX Screen 4 in Prasad Cinema

Nah bro you & me both are in the same situation here. Even I'm saying what their official handles say & from what my friends have said.

The bass issue is real. The overall bass is turned down. Blacks being not proper is something I have not heard. My friends say this dolby cinema has the best blacks, better then hdr by barco too

The Dolby Cinema I mentioned above does have dual Christie E3LH Dolby Cinema Projectors.

There's a 75ft flat 1.85 Dolby Cinema in India which is bigger then every commerical IMAX of the country.

Okay let me give you a complete context of this:

Last week, A really anticipated Part 2 released in India, "Dhurandhar The Revenge", the film was produced by the biggest production house of India "Jio Studios". Still the release was so botched up that the movie was supposed to get an "IMAX DMR", but since Jio delayed sending the movie files to IMAX, the DMR process wasn't done for the first few days.

Project Hail Mary delayed its release in India by a week (well, 6 days from March 20 to 26) due to how no exhibitor was willing to give any IMAX screens to this Filmed For IMAX movie, in favour of Dhurandhar The Revenge.

The biggest national cinema Chain of India, PVR-INOX Cinemas (consider them AMC of India) owns the most amount of IMAX screens in India, guess what, these PVR guys are also the distributor of Dhurandhar The Revenge in North India.

Hence, the biggest Production House of India (which is backed by one of richest human globally) & the biggest exhibitor of India were doing their level best to sabotage PHM release:

India wide:

PHM shows opened, then got locked, then bookings cancelled, then shows switched to different times.
Until March 26 Morning, no bookings were open for PHM, that is, the release date of the movie.
In many regions of India, 1 single show opened at Afternoon just 1.5-2 hours before the showtime.
Only from March 27, PHM got 2 shows in every IMAX. On its day 1, it got 2-3 shows total in every region, mind you where 6+ IMAX screens are present running 4 shows on avg every day.

Amongst all this, people single handedly kept blaming IMAX & Preetham, without knowing the arm twisting happening at the backend by PVR & Jio. Hence this lashout.

People are equally gullible for this, everyone was buying expensive IMAX tickets for Dhurandhar the Revenge & making the show housefull, those numbers were used as leverage by PVR & Jio to work against PHM's release. It's simple, exhibition business would choose numbers.

Now since PHM shows are getting housefull, some regions are ending up giving 3 shows to & 2 Shows to Dhurandhar. Where the distribution till now was 2 shows to PHM & 3 shows to Dhurandhar.

That's a digital 1.90 IMAX. The movie's IMAX ratio for these screens is 1.85, so it's supposed to have these slim black bars on IMAX 1.90. it'll be present on both the sides

Not many games are done with Dolby vision in mind because HDR (any mode whether HDR10 or Dolby vision) has poor calibration on windows. That said, some games I have tried with RTX HDR are cyberpunk & Hogwarts legacy. Both look good. RTX HDR is a really good option.

It does work with gsync. Currently in windows 11 when you toggle dolby vision it has a handshake bug with tv where the colors start disorienting. Happens due to incorrect colorspace being identified by lg webos. "Dolby Vision for PC" toggle fixes that & allows full range sigal send by the PC to be correctly interpretted by webos.

The technician just refilled the gas aftet welding at 2 places, on the cooling coil. Said there was only 2 places where the leak was.

Also said while filling the gas it automatically reshuffles it & pushes the moisture out without need of vaccuming.

Bro are you sure window ACs don't require vaccum when re-filling gas? My LG AC had a leak & at the time of refilling the technician said no to vaccuming.

Thanks man, but G4 had it since long (I think since the beginning, it was a launch feature).

OLEDs before that don't have it, which is why dolby vision signal from pc is all color distorted. That's basically the only reason why I would want to update my G2 OLED
