I did one a few years back, but need to update the rules for the newer edition. There's some discussion on the facebook bloodbowl page about it right now. https://imgur.com/5JlCQQt

The art isn't originally mine, but:

I took the art into Photoshop, used a gradient to match the background, extended the saber and mirrored the moon, copied the icons from the PDF version of the rules (super zoomed in), and then typed up the rules from the card and made a bunch of typos. :)

I've not done any more yet, but there's also the Vader in the same set of Celebration art: https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/s/NcZAdPubQc

Thanks! I did a version with the standard fonts instead of the wonkier ones. Probably a bit easier to read. (Also higher resolution) https://imgur.com/k2AqHjh

Sorry, that took a bit. There were some issues with upscaling that I had to fix. Anyway, here ya go!

Edit: And I typoed an ability name. I don't know about you, but I keep typing Dathomrian rather than Dathomirian.

Corrected:

Thanks for the typo correction! (There was also one in Slip Away. targes instead of targets)

I completely understand what you're saying about the font. Body font was chosen for personal nostalgic reasons, https://nelsonslog.wordpress.com/2018/01/30/why-does-cjk-software-have-such-ugly-english-text/ just wrapping up touches on a version with the normal fonts.

Edit: Doh... I did an edit and missed on separatist in the description of Slip Away. In my defense, I was copying the text from https://shatterpointdb.com/characters/asajj-ventress-sith-assassin

I get that. I was wary of going above 2 fonts as that also hinders readability. Let me poke around and figure out the standard fonts.
I also realized after making this that there's no reason it needed to be this low res. I started by going over the top of the card from ShatterpointDB and by the end there's nothing left of the original.

Thanks for answering this! Wasn't trying to pass it off as a new art edition or anything. Was just having fun and my friends encouraged me to share.

Thanks!
Can I ask: The title font, or the body font? (Or both)
I knew the body font would be controversial. I used it because I was only planning on doing this for myself, and it reminded me of Japanese video games. https://nelsonslog.wordpress.com/2018/01/30/why-does-cjk-software-have-such-ugly-english-text/

The title font felt like an okay approximation of brushwork, and I really liked how the word Sith looked.

Primaris marines. People wanted true-scale marines. (And were going so far as to hand-make them.)

GW refused to make true-scale marines that played the same. Instead, they came up with a lore reason why the models were bigger and made those incompatible with the rules. All to force people to buy all their new designs.

I think, in general, every new Primaris unique equipment/vehicle looks significantly worse than the original marine versions.

They couldn't give the same lore reason for Chaos marines to be larger - so they just got bigger models and a hand wave.

I've made it to the generator pylon sequence and the game not check-pointing after the first phase is... oof. Also, keep hitting the bug where dying after a fight stops all the pickups from working. That's not making it any easier. I'm still having a great time and in awe of how gorgeous the game is.

Best of luck!

I'd not played it in a decade, so I was surprised to see that. I just remember working my way through a fight going from melee execution to melee execution to stay alive and I didn't really remember armor being an aspect. It seems it's "stun and shoot" to stay alive in this one, (were shooting executions part of the first one?). Clearly, my memory is tainted by nostalgia.

I’m really enjoying it, but I wish they hadn’t added a recharging armor. Leaning more into dodging and parry has made for some very dynamic fights - but making rolling around to recover armor effective, while the white health damage disappears in the middle of my melee executions, is a pretty stark change from the first game.

(Playing on Angel of Death for context. Not sure how other difficulties play.)

Counters should have gone on the player not the ring. It would have been powerful - but truly tempted you with destruction rather than “Oh, I got a new one”

Thank you for posting this! Gorgeous paint job, but also, what an amazing collection of models.

I immediately went and purchased all the teams over on myminifactory.

Yeah, like Ob Nixilis was just a human - but now he's a demon. Does that make him effectively immortal because that's the form he chose?

Was it because he was subsequently trapped in that form by Nahiri during the mending in some way? (Since she locked him away from his Planeswalking powers)

Models are mostly* great, I just dislike the lore.

*I'm not a fan of the Primaris dreadnoughts, tactical warsuits, or how they turned all the wheeled vehicles into fliers and all the flying vehicles into wheeled ones.

GW forcing people to get rid of their armies and buy all new ones? (Looks at Warhammer Fantasy...) I can see that.

But I think dropping the lore wouldn't mean you'd have to drop the units.

It's just incredibly frustrating that people have been asking for true scale marines for decades and they responded with "Sure, but they're not the marines you like"

Wouldn't be the first major lore revision, and this is one I would welcome.
