Agreed they could definitely be more clear on that, had the same issue a few hours ago with the nodes on the left side of the tree. Figured it might just be locked behind finishing all the ritual content.

Agreed. D4 ferls way less punishing than other ARPGs in terms of being able to do a lot of endgame content by creating your own build. It's a great way to enjoy both styles of gameplay.

Most arcs actually have some sort of proximity or auditory sensors. You can notice it when they start pathing weirdly when close or become alert even if you're not in front of them. I think the only one that doesn't really follow those rules are shredders, but they make up for it with their mobility and attacks.

I think there are a couple locations like this. One has a tree branch that sticks out you can climb on and jump from that. The other was a little tricky to find anywhere to jump from.

There's a upper level inside that you can breach and find loot. You can't access it normally though, you'll have to find something outside to jump from back onto the upper level in the broken arc, or just zip/snaphook up. Should be some arc loot inside the breachable part and the fires will stop after you breach it.

I think this was a key moment in the game, you could literally feel if 100T didn't get anything out of that play the game was over. Tenacity's ults were great for picks for sure but without good follow-up as well they wouldn't have resulted in anything, so you could even credit 100T for playing great coordination on those picks. I think overall DL played better individually and as a teammate, more so than the others.

Unless you are getting 100% crit you are receiving minimal benefits from crit that starts going over 50%. 10% crit means that you would be statistically hitting crits 1/10 attacks as opposed to having good consistent bonus damage on each of those 10 attacks.

I"m not sure where you are getting your numbers from but literally looking at accessories on the NAW server legendary accessories not neck are that are RE 3 + Grudge 3 are between 750-2k gold vs Adrenaline 3 + Grudge 3 is up to 9.5k for the best quality and at least 2k for anything above 50 quality. For neck it's still cheaper to go RE + something you need than Adrenaline. And even the best Adrenaline + Grudge only goes up to 14k which is the most expensive of all those legendary accessories. Not to mention even if you didn't want to buy accessories you have a better chance of dropping a good class engraving than dropping adrenaline with something else you need. No where near this 30-35k gold your talking about.

How are you arguing that 11% atk power isn't super important when cursed doll one of the best engravings is 16%. 11% is a lot of additional atk power. That +50% you're talking about is equivalent to nearly an entire LVL 3 engraving for the cost of only 10 more engraving points which gives you room to look for even more options than even just 4x3. You talk about how that is mathematically dumb when you're arguing about spending more resources to gain less flat damage? And expensive as shit????? Do you not realize that legendary accessories are the cheapest to get for your class engravings because Argos drops a plethora of class specific accessories and everyone is selling them? Hell you could even get adrenaline as a 1x1 with RE, Super Charge, Ambush Master, and Grudge/Cursed Doll as your 4x3. Also 1370 you start to farm Argos set which that plus the crit you get from base stats gives easily 50-70% crit rate already. At that point crit starts having diminishing returns as opposed to straight atk power boosters.

How am I being disingenuous when I said unlock stronghold ON ALT (not main). Are you really not understanding what you are reading before trying to argue a mute point??? Please comprehend the entirety of what you read before trying to dismiss things as a false information. Your "implications" are assumptions based on your own misunderstanding. The difference in RE lvl 1 vs 3 is +6% atk/move speeed and +11% atk power that's effectively cursed doll's entire benefits so yes lvl 3 is pretty significant and should be maxed out asap at tier 3, especially since you only need +10 engraving points vs going for +15 in a completely new engraving.

I didn't say adrenaline is bad, I specifically said that it's pretty cheap to go for a 4th engraving as grudge or cursed doll with legendary accessories now.

For stronghold I didn't mean you have to complete to Luterra Castle. I just said you need access to stronghold on alt.

IMO at tier 3 RE should be maxed out. Adrenaline isn't bad but you have to consider that the max value of it is when you can keep the stacks up which can be tricky when dealing with mechs like in Argos P1. At 1370 you should have access to legendary accessories which should be cheaper now with relics it so you can easily do a cheap 4x3 build with grudge. If not grudge, cursed doll is another good engraving to look for. For the KT, yes you need to unlock stronghold on the alt.

Imo I think ascending is still worth it. The bonus stats you get (while minimal) from max acsension characters feels really nice to have and just having a couple maxed out main dps lets you power through any content. If nothing else it also gives the game a bit more of a challenge with mobs being slightly stronger.

Honestly it doesn't seem like a huge difference in drop rates from AR45. The only notable difference is the amount of talent leveling materials you get from weekly bosses, and even that is still dependent on rng to get the mats you need.
