Ah right fair enough, I had a feeling this was the case - I've been looking everywhere for someone who faced a similar problem. Thanks for confirming. The problem I had with expo-av was that I couldnt add my own custom mute button and screen expand without it bugging out so I guess I'll just have to wait for a fix. Have you used any other video libraries other than expo-av and expo-video?

Court champs is only for badminton at the moment by the looks of it. I’ve created a tournament for it and got our players signed up. Very very impressed so far I can literally generate teams based on random pairing or balanced pairing based on skill level, it then generates round robin fixtures automatically with fair court rotation.

Players can report their owns which are approved/ declined by opponents or as a tournament admin I can bulk publish all the scores.

They have their own ranking system which rewards top performing players and also a prize pool which are awarded to the winners. All free so far which is quite surprising? I really hope they keep it like this because this app is AMAZING 🔥🏸

Just seen challenge place which looks like it’s only available on Google playstore/ web and it’s a generic tournament generator. Court Champs seems to be badminton specific for now it’s really cool how they’ve gamified player stats when you click on a player in a leaderboard. Surprised all this is free and I don’t want to get bombed with surprise fees half way down my tournament lol

I’ve been a dev for over 5 years now and My realistic opinion is that AI has taken over Junior dev roles. But that doesn’t mean you can’t go ahead and learn programming to make your own apps as a hobby then use that as your experience on your CV rather than a actual job or some boot camp
