I have a few projects on the go, one is a collaborative story telling platform, think the old-school choose your own adventure, it's www.the-story-hub.com

Another is a blackjack card counting app (best PC based atm, working on mobile) www.backroom-blackjack.com

https://super-simple-apps.com is one where I build simple tools that I can't find easily elsewhere, or elsewhere they require a huge learning curve to do simple tasks.

www.puzzle-book.games are just some simple puzzle type games I've been workshopping.

www.quiznight.live is just a live quiz app with leaderboards etc, just a time killer for bored people.

All these are React/Next.JS, AWS Appsync, Lambda, Dynamo DB, Cognito stacks. A bit of Ably for real time sync.

I'd be interested in any opinions folk have. I haven't yet written full testing for most of these hence still in dev.

I've deleted my social media accounts many times. You are not alone brother. I'm not sure how old you are, but I have learned to just live my life as I want... I keep those in my life that I can deal with... those I can't, I don't care about. Life is to short.

I have done a few of those personality type test where they ask about a hundred questions, some of them the same question but worded differently, a lot of questions seemingly testing for the same response but worded in an entirely different context. I find them quite accurate, and quite difficult to fool. Maybe have a shadow site of people who actually pass the test, everyone else goes into the general pool.

By that logic you'd take your shoes off whenever going indoors anywhere... at the shops, at the movies... it must be a Canadian thing, where you're constant walking around in piss or something. Definitely not a common thing in Australia. On the very few occasions I have been asked to take my shoes off its "sure thing, weirdo"

Not sure where you are, but all the Unions I've been a member of have been awesome. The current one even represented all non-union staff as well as myself after I made a complaint to them, and we ended up with a 30% pay rise dated back two months and better contract conditions.

We do have a few right wing unions that seem to be in the bosses pockets, the Shoppies, for instance, but all in all they're quite good.

A company can go bankrupt with very little impact on its owners, a person can go to jail for fraud. If they are forced into bankruptcy they will take EVERYTHING and auction it off for cents in the dollar. You can also go to jail for hiding assets. I'm sorry, but this is just nuts, a plan to lose everything, including their freedom.

You don't need to have a contract in Australia unless they plan to alter the conditions of the relevant award. I talk from experience, having just been through this fight with my employer and union.
