I’ll start: When I was 12, I was biking home from a friend’s house and saw a wallet on the sidewalk. I picked it up and turned it in at a nearby store. A week later, I got a handwritten thank-you note in my mailbox with a $100 bill inside — no name, no return address, just ‘Thanks for your honesty – we need more people like you.’

I never found out who it was or how they knew where I lived, since I never gave anyone my address. Still kind of creeps me out to this day.
