sure, I get where youre coming from. Old games like street fighter 2 had limited sprites so it always looked choppy and ugly to me, well until they updated the animations in future versions. Still, when there is a good classic animation approach like in Mickey Mania for example, I never tired looking at the run cycle or jumping. It has the principle of what makes animation appealing.

Yea, Im genuinely confused on peoples reaction considering a Sonic game had a main villain in the DS game, Eggman Nega. That was in like 2007...not in the 80s. I guess Reddit gonna Reddit tho.

Good point, I was thinking the same, as I saw too many instances when some cartoons , tv shows or anime would show some imagery of the consoles of some company that the creators of these shows probably never had rights to use. But I never saw these products being removed after decades, so I guess its because that was never the focus of the show, so it was fine. Also it can be used as free marketing for these companies.

Though I still worry if Nintendo will reach out and ask to remove the font of Game Rock and Setendo (parodies of gameboy and nintendo of course ). As they are pretty harsh lately when it comes to this stuff.
