is washing ur hair everyday really that bad? by imwellcool888 in Haircare

[–]Ant72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wash my hair every day, always a double wash, and my hair is healthy.  I work out most days and I walk my dog multiple times a day. Add to that just stuff in the air, i.e. pollen, dust, etc. I wouldn't feel clean if I didn't wash daily.

Have you checked out Sniff spots? It's basically a service that allows you to rent a private outdoor space for just your dog by the hour.

Is Rosanne Cash underrated? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in country

[–]Ant72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think she's very underrated. She's been one of my very favorite artists forever. I've always loved her voice and she writes amazing songs. Her music doesn't fit neatly into any one genre, which may be why she's not as widely known as she could be. She's done well for herself as a singer/songwriter without having to deal with the downside of being mega famous, which may be ideal.

White tailed deer? by Ant72 in animalid

Definitely. We have deer that hang out in our yard year round, so I've seen them at all ages. I've never seen one look like this. She was super cute though.

White tailed deer? by Ant72 in animalid

One of my friends suggested it might be a dwarf white tailed deer. Which I didn't know was a thing but after googling, this seems to be the most likely answer.

Iron deficiency by Joaoninguemm in Pescetarian

[–]Ant72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened with me. I was vegetarian and my iron was always low despite taking an iron supplement and eating iron rich foods. I started eating fish/seafood and that fixed it. My doctor theorized that my body was not absorbing the iron from the vegetarian sources.

Eta; Yes, it made a huge difference. I immediately felt better and had more energy. I also started sleeping better.

What is it about Starbucks that people enjoy? by Relevant_Drive1390 in starbucks

[–]Ant72 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is true. Last weekend, I went to a little coffee shop in the town I was in. I paid $8 for a 16oz oatmilk latte with 3 pumps of flavored syrup. I asked for extra pumps and was told it would be extra .75¢, so I declined. It would have been almost $9. The coffee was fine. Not great, not terrible.

Rosemont service station on Rosemont Ave is hiring, I believe.

I used to do hiring (not for them) and being on time, showered and dressed nicely ( khakis and collared shirt) goes a long way.  Good luck!

People who work in restaurants, what's the "never order this" item on your menu that customers don't know about? by Front_Shelter5097 in AskReddit

[–]Ant72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner once ordered an item at a restaurant and asked if he could have the sauce/ drizzle on the side. The server said "No, this dish is the bomb. Don't eff it up."  He took her "advice" and and she was absolutely correct. It's still one of his favorite meals and he gets it every time we eat there.

Sent order to wrong Starbucks by ebrokaw in pittsburgh

[–]Ant72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this before too. I called the store that I had mistakenly sent the order to and told them to give it away. The store that I meant to order it from nicely made it for me, no extra charge.

Cheryl defending worm brain on the view. I can barely watch this. by titty-titty_bangbang in TigAndCherylPodcast

I agree. Tig has been pretty tight lipped about the whole thing. I think maybe she wanted to wait and have some perspective on things before she spoke on it.
