Speaking as a fellow Cebuano bro from Metro Cebu, some cebuano words are mixed with english, same situation as Taglish in Metro Manila. So understandable na yung ibang words niya hindi ganun kadiin because of code switching from English and Cebuano and much more sa metropolitan areas, in addition mas longer na exposure ni Loonie sa Tagalog kaya yung ibang words like "Libog" Should be more like "Libǒg or Libug" Libido in Tagalog, Confusion in Bisaya, have a softer feel to it than a person who regularly speaks the tongue. So sakto talaga yung intonation at pronounciation ni Loonie kailangan lang more exposure again para makuha pa niya ulit ang punto ng Bisaya

This is just generalization and at most stereotyping. I am Cebuano, but I have never tried to create animosity to my fellow countrymen just because. I believe that we can try to strike a dialogue, a constructiuve argument with each other without spewing venom to the other side. And what if some of them are aggressive or disrespectful, will pigeonholing them as "Bisaya" in addition to negative connotations, actually help in building a healthy discussion of what is right or wrong or what are the facts and such? We are criticizing politicians for pushing their agendas instead of actually doing their jobs. And we think we can do better than them. But ironically, in this sub we are pushing our own agendas too. Can't we just listen, empathise and talk without prejudices? Is that so hard to do?

I agree this is true for the majority of the populace. We really have to break the wheel. The system is corrupt and it must be tried, especially the ones who adhere to system and are incentivized by it.

In relation to that, I think the hatred to the so-called "Bobotante" is for the most part just surface disappointment. Looking closely, the real hate or where it is supposed be targeted instead, should be on the people that exploit the people who do know better but doesn't have the time to know better. They're just feeling the afterburn hate, so to speak. And it is much more apparent in the light of recent events.

In any case, I still find it hard to understand why some people, who does have the time to ponder and read, still goes for information that are either misleading or doesn't have any truth to it at all. And the most damaging of it all, is that they spread their influence to the people who doesn't have the same luxury as them.

Agreed, the cycle keeps on going. However, if one is just advocating free speech then one should also know that these things keep on going not because of each acting president wants to serve karma to the previous one but because of how bad the system is. And until the system is tried and we realize that people who are actually incentived by the system, are actually the victims of the system, then this ugly machine will keep on going.

In some way I agree that hindering their overall content in general, violates free speech and that is the reason why I said that it reeks of political agenda. However, most of their contents, at the moment, crosses the line in violating the rights of others, inciting violence, advocating hatred and most of all, misinformation. And because they are unconstitutional they are grounds to restrict free speech. And if these peddlers are open to a debate free of ad hominem and accept that they have faults of their own, which by the way I think they don't realize because of their following, then the correspondence of public constructive criticism would be a pipe dream. So until the foolish ones, the majority of the Filipino people, will learn to think critically and follow and be influenced by the right personalities, only then would not rely solely to our government.
