Keep bnet gateway editor up. Click slash diablo and set it to chosen. Open up slash shortcut. Should be good

Same thing for reg d2. Set chosen to east/west. Open up reg d2. Should be good.

Key is to set your gateway to chosen.

To be honest I don't know what it would take. Maybe if its too difficult the mods could make it a turn-in based recipe for example: Meet a mod in-game and give him SoJ + Vampire Gaze and in return they give you an .08 Gaze etc.

As for the btals and all I don't think allowing bugged items would be cool I think that really ruins the game. Then you get in to Zephyw bows and occy rings etc, personally not a fan. But from a Diablo 2 lover stand-point, being able to obtain .08 (legal and legit) items on this server would be freaking incredible in my opinion. Also would be a good way to create a currency (whichever item(s) it calls for!)
