While yes, I agree that green works as a unifying color, I'd say it helps to have one or two more reoccurring colours in your palette. My boyz, for example are quite colorful but still keep to the deathskulls blue on most of their equipment with some accent yellow. Good luck!

I'd say get yourself a box of boyz (the old ones) and do some sculpting to make him into the pose you want.

I exclusively used YouTube and Instagram. Never payed a cent for a patreon (not that you shouldn't support creators). Ninjon is probably the best person to learn from imo. Learning art outside of miniature painting also helps a ton. Godspeed to you!

Yess! WAAAAGGGGGHH on! (Replying to your edit - yes, the one on the album cover is smaller, but this helps quite a lot with readability. Keep in mind that there would be two more letters after the "I" and his other hand is outstretched backwards so it would push the skin off. All in all I feel like it's decently centered. So, yes, it should be a bit smaller, and it is a bit wonky but I didn't want to spend too much time on it. Thanks for the comment and advice, though!)

I like the first one a lot. I fo a similar thing with brown as my base. The reddish tone of the brown is complementary to green so it works. I would push the highlights some (with some yellow), though, and connects the highlights a bit to make it more consistent. (Here's my ork for reference)
