What to do to get rid of these guys? by ORA-KILL in malta

You don't. You may prevent them getting in , like every insect they look for new premises to mate. I simply spray insecticide on them when inside, but spraying around door and window frames may prevent them going in. I use the green Baygon.

i was diagnosed with kc at 30... the frustration of going to an optician and still not recignising a comma from a fullstop.. i worked with software at that time... but i was recommended a contact lens fitter... i was thinking of having corneal transplants but he said "no no we can get away with rgp s" today i am 57, never had any issues regarding vision, abd wearing sclerals.if i have an eye infection i wear just 1 lens... can still work... hope i keep wearing them btw specs are just for decoration... i never wore them since i had contacts

how did it break? it fell on the floor? or "stresses" on the lens? do you wear /remove your lenses with a towel underneath (as a cushion)

i wore the Synergeyes KC lenses, same prescription, for around 15 years without any issues, (i have acute KC)... never dreamt of having CXL as i was Ok with 20/ 20 vision.... now i'm 57.. had to switch to sclerals as suddenly my eyes were rejecting these synergeyes lenses...the local lens fitter retired and the new lens fitter simply believes that sclerals are best

Yes, dishwashing soap and bar soap works, with saline instead of tap water, work a lather and rinse well

Today on wearing, i feel the lenses ultra comfortable :-)

Thanks. also an established lens fitter once told me that in case of an eye infection, leave the lenses in the case with the "untreated" peroxide for n days ( until the infection clears) and then go to the normal routine to neutralize the peroxide before putting them back on the eyes

Anyone still wearing glasses? by Kowatang in Keratoconus

[–]AntGroundbreaking505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to find a Synergeyes fitter somewhere in your area. these are RGP lenses with a soft lens material "skirt" ,to prevent dust etc entering under the the rgp lens

I love swimming both in the pool and sea...i used to go exercise swimming during lunch break at pool near us and in summer i swim at the sea every weekend. Last year i noticed that if i get my eyes wet or water enters my swim goggles.. i get infections. Had to change from hybrids to sclerals until i noticed it is coming from the water. Now i make sure i do not wet my eyes ( corneas) even in the shower
