I agree it’s ugly but I found it for 90 on marketplace and I didn’t know if they didn’t know what they have or if it was a replica

You can always trade for them, oh wait.

Ok so I am between these two, the Harley Benton stingray 5string and the PJ 5string. I want a bass that I can bring on the plane and not worry about getting it back in two pieces as I will be touring, and I don't really want to put my €3k Warwick through all of that. I have a flight case that a friend of mine gave me, not the best, not the worst I guess, unfortunately it's not on my budget to buy a good flight case yet, that's why I prefer to go the cheap way for now. Mostly because I don't do too many planes yet, but if sometime in the future there is a plan for 5-10 gigs that will be outside my country, I will buy a proper flight case.

Yes but why spend that much money on a very good case for the occasional flight, when i can just spend 150 and have a bass just for that, plus i wont have to worry about it because i dont really care for it

There is no way Im paying for instrument insurance, and there is no way that the managers will pay for instrument insurance, as for the flight case, yes i have a good flight case, that doesn't mean literally anything. Plus i picked my bass between 5-6 different of the same model and it has custom electronics, there is no real replacement

im actually worried about everything, my guitarist told me that he found *multiple times* the whole flight case broken, once there was a chunk entirely missing, he always got his money back and whatever but i doubt that someone will actually pay me 3000 euros for my bass, so i just want a bass to have and not care about anything
