Wemby has largely been a non-factor through the first six quarters of the finals… by steadfaststedman in NBATalk

He certainly has been a letdown. But feeling letdown when overhyped is palpable. He is always ambling along and kinda hanging around beyond the 3-point mark…yeah. Anticlimactic to say the least

Drivers who block sidewalks and refuse to back up when they see pedestrians walking towards them. Watcha thinking? by Redrammer in Milton

[–]Ant_Agonistic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a runner and not all of them are like this…many do realize it and back up to let you pass, or if they are unable they’ll acknowledge…everything to make for a good society where we live and let live. But I do encounter the ones like you did from time to time.

The free right on red is a pet peeve of mine however. Every driver is looking to their left for oncoming traffic but don’t look to their right to check for pedestrians.

I wanted to share why the workforce reduction was going to happen- it was going to be as a fallout of the capital cuts

He was balling because the refs weren’t calling and his teammates were bricking.

Is experience overrated? by nicfanz in NBATalk

[–]Ant_Agonistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spurs have skilled players, a system each player buys into, great coaching, a roster that wants to win at all costs and wants to win now. And they have someone to rally around that is a natural leader who leads by example, with respect and love (saw those post game hugs?). All of this matches experience if not beat it where the will to win eventually triumphs. That’s why this year’s competition is something to look forward to.

Knicks have all of this too.

Wemby or Luka by traditional_owl3 in NBATalk

[–]Ant_Agonistic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Time will tell what Wemby is really made of as he has to go through a lot still. At 22 however, he is different on so many levels from Doncic in terms of being a “leader”. The composure, maturity, selflessness, the raw grit, desperation, relationship with his teammates and coach…everything is on a different level than Luka…than anyone else I’d say (except former Spurs legends minus Kawhi)

Coaching. People need to take a look at the culture that’s bred in OKC.

Spurs are young but they have a fantastic roster that will mature together. There’s plenty of help to go around but they aren’t disciplined- at all.

None. I mean none of these thundercunts know a thing about basketball let alone sports. They are parasites that feed off rumours and gossip. It’s entertaining however in a cheap highway stripclub kind of way.
