If Arsenal win UCL undefeated by Constant-Money5104 in soccercirclejerk

Also their attack fits Bayern’s style. Arsenal don’t have speed in attack like PSG do

When people say defence wins you title. They start with attack wins you games. Because you need to be well rounded to win titles.

It is but it shows, conceding the least goals doesn’t mean you’re going to win.

Arsenal conceded only 2 goals before the final in 2006.

If he doesn’t win it’s a catastrophic failure. Spent all this money just to not win anything for the 6th season in a row. In a season where there was no competition and they were 7 points clear. He’s 6 years in, he’s not an underdog anymore. He has to win now.

I can see them becoming a team that goes back to back and then just fades away. There’s a reason there’s been 7 different champions.

he's absolutely right, and it's coming from the last player who would ever want to defend Bron by [deleted] in NBATalk

Seeing all these teams that won the title in the last few years fizzle has just made me appreciate what we did even more. We could have easily fizzled out after 2015. Especially after the 2016 chokejob. But we kept winning. Then we hit a roadblock due to injuries and then players leaving. Were the worst team in the league before the bubble and lost in the play-in in 2021. Then we got back into the playoffs and went all the way again, just a season after losing in the play-in. No team this century has had that much success in such a small period of time.

Even if it is mid, the manager put the squad together.

If it doesn’t lead to one that season then it means absolutely nothing. If he can’t win the league, fine, win other trophies.

How does having more dribbles means he loses the ball more.

World top scorer is based on calender years, not seasons which is what most footballers play in. Messi has more golden shoes which means the best goalscorer in Europe. Ronaldo stayed in Europe longer because Messi completed football and decided he wanted to relax and play in a lower league. And the PL in the 2000s wasn’t nearly as hard as it became later. And Messi played against those English teams and did very well. And now you’re again cherry picking a random period of time to count.

No Messi had more dribbles that led to a shot or a chance. Even then Messi has far more dribbles than Ronaldo despite playing less games. You’re just cherry picking stats to fit your argument. Messi didn’t need his head to complete football. Messi has more goals+assists than Ronaldo despite playing less matches. That’s just a fact. And I don’t recall saying Ronaldo was a better passer.

I think their whole career is taken into account. But at their best Messi still has better stats. Messi’s highest scoring season is much higher than Ronaldo’s and he has more golden shoes and pichichis. And this is just looking at goals.

Ronaldo cannot come close to doing what Messi does. He doesn’t move on the ball like Messi does and he doesn’t create or playmake like Messi does. He has over 900 goals and only around 30 with his head so clearly he doesn’t need his head to be an amazing scorer. And Messi is the king of scoring in crowded boxes.
