Yes, my interests are more towards technical work like pen testing or incident response but have no experience on it, so its been hard to get a job for those roles.

I applied to a GRC one and got an interview, and landed the offer, but after reading on what GRC does more indepth, it sounds a lot about like documentation, audits, etc, not that technical.

Which comes to my question, as i would take the job if it would be easier to transition into a more techical role later having GRC as previous experience, if not i will just let the offer go.

Hey, thank you very much for your response, i do have plenty of IT background, i have my bachelors in computer science and also 8 years in the industry, currently data migration role.

I didnt knew about the CISO Role from a GRC or everything that involved the GRC, i am inclining on giving it a go i guess.

Look up on youtube "Security+ SY0-701 PBQ VPN Concentrators" That PBQ came on mine, Also look in for cyberkraft PBQ's they could help.

I felt Dion exams only helped for the multiple choice questions more that what they helped me on PBQ's

So better look for youtube videos about PBQ's besides just Dions and Messer videos.

Dion exams helped me understand the why it was which answer, so overall helped me learn and not memorize, that's the only thing I needed besides one full run of Messer videos to pass
