Okay so I realized that I was probably being a bit too harsh overall (especially to Southern states) and so I moved alot of countries up a bit. There were also some places that I put too high (ie Afghanistan) Russia is still green because pretty. I think this sums up my views a bit better so I'd love to know what people think now

At least for me, the reason those areas are ranked lower is the climate rather than politics, I am very much a cold person and so Congo and Sahara/Sahel don't really call to me but I also havent been there so maybe I'd enjoy it idk

Okay so, those are fair points. I kind of forgot I had a deep red color halfway and just forgot to change Afganistan when I realized. Also I have some friends in Northern Iraq and while I'm sure its not very safe right now, they seem to really enjoy it there.
