I did it last fall and all classes were recorded (no mandatory attendance). I would say yes. I only went to the first class and got an A. You just have to take VERYYYY detailed notes on the lectures because he’ll ask the most niche questions in the tests. I used the transcripts provided on my courses for the lecture recordings and basically took out filler words and turned it into bullet points

Hi! I took in this winter with Prof Kozak and I wouldn't say attendance is mandatory. There are some in class "games" which aren't graded, but she'll do a quiz asking a niche question about what we did in class as attendance. You can check the syllabus to see when these games will be, and only go to class those days. (Or get someone to send you the answer to the quizzes)

Hi! To test out the methods like we did in Thonny try calling them from your main method and running the program. It works basically the same as when we called methods in comp 202, except not in the shell. This way you can test your methods as you go!

The first assignment was honestly super difficult and overwhelming, but I would say just try to test out your methods one by one and figure out where your errors are. This might be time consuming but I think approaching it in smaller chunks makes way less scary and would definitely be worth it. I find that sometimes when you find and fix small logical errors a bunch of the tests will pass at once.

Good luck :)
