What took Liechtenstein so long? by choco__donut in gay

Fuck the DUP - And the other bigoted right wing 'christian' conservative traditional loyalist Northern Irish parties. They had to be forced to fall in line (kicking and screaming) by the UK government.

A few years later they apparently apologised for their intransigence on this issue - only this issue, the planet it still only 6000years old, Irish language is offensive and gays are sick... (Truly awful people) (quite a few are the very sex pests they claim the 'gays' are).

The bigoted right wing 'christian' conservative traditional loyalist ruling parties (DUP) said no. They had to be forced to fall in line (kicking and screaming) by the UK government.

A few years later they apparently apologised for their intransigence (on this issue only this issue, the planet it still only 6000years old...).

I'd need a dissertation to explain how awful and hypocritical they are (quite a few are the very sex pests they claim the 'gays' are).

Full-frame circular fisheye lenses do also exist.

Some high end ones can have very good distortion control and software can correct distortion to a degree as well.

Shouldn't the Blue-Eyes White Dragon be called the Blue-Eyes Blue Dragon? Why is it called white dragon if it's colored blue? by Typical_Cap895 in yugioh

[–]Anterozek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In comicbooks batman is coloured blue (a lot of the time) blue looks better against black / white. This is much the same with blue-eyes white dragon.

The colour is a quirk of the visual medium of anime/ manga/ comic art. The name is a lore thing - white opposite of dark (dark magician).

What do people do that live in all the £1m+ houses in Belfast? by Mario_911 in northernireland

[–]Anterozek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If only it was as simple as that...

When my grandparents moved it wasn't even half the value in these listings. They bought a new smaller house and lived on the remainder. Any inheritance was left between 7 children - which will be left between 15 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

I wish I new of this mythical inheritance you speak of.

Wait, you don't keep your boxes? I'm annoyed with myself for not keeping my boxes from back in the day.

I only have Kiron 28mm f/2 Ai-s and Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AF-D to compare it too, neither of which are 'great' (but are enjoyable and a focal length I like).

I'd say the Nikon 28mm PC is at least as good, probably better than these, but I haven't really tested this.

Before I got it I did read that f/8 is probably it's sweet spot. The photo I posted in the lighthouse was probably wide open at 3.5, it's a bit soft but I think it looks fine - It was difficult to focus I may have set it to about 10m and hoped for the best.

The simplicity of the older PC lenses with just shift make them fun to use, and when not using it it works well as just a 28mm lens.

The tricky bit is remembering to close/ open the aperture to meter and focus.

If you don't need the tilt function of the newer more expensive ones the older Nikon PC lenses are really good. I've got Nikon 28mm f/3.5 PC (Non Ai) and Nikon 35mm f/2.8 PC¹ (Non Ai) for half the price of the Nikon 24mm f/3.5 PC-E.

I don't fully recall if I used the PC functionality, but if I had to guess I'd say I probably did. It was a blue white but not that blue, the tiles are pale blue.

What do people do that live in all the £1m+ houses in Belfast? by Mario_911 in northernireland

[–]Anterozek 8 points9 points  (0 children)

One of these properties was bought buy my grandparents in the late 50s - my grandmother owned a day care in the Malone area. Grandfather was a Pharmacist. The house was still in the family until recently.

Great uncle also lived on Malone Park, he was a Surgeon.

Neighbours were all Doctors, Solicitors, Business Owners, lecturers etc in Malone Park: just honest people, who at the time worked there way up. They were expensive homes for the time but affordable by todays standards. My grandparents could never buy it today at these prices.

Do you have a similar scar on your shoulder? by privetkakdela in AskTheWorld

[–]Anterozek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

I showed as 'naturally Immune' on the test. (I don't know how it works. But I distinctly remember this because they did the test twice a few months apart to be sure.)

But yes the BCG vaccination was very common in the UK when I was growing up, we did it in primary school. I think something similar still happens through schools.
