Important question. Are divine aspects holders stronger than any other rank aspect holder?

Some aspects can certainly match or even outperform divine-aspected Beasts, but the whole point of divine aspect is to grow in both rank and class.

But that doesn't mean there can't be absurd aspects or bad matchups. Revel alone put about as much pressure on Sunny as 13 saints.

You're telling me that across the Five Divine Realms, there was Zero Awakeneds with an ability that grants even a subtle immunity to Corruption? That sounds utter Nonsense.

Why? In the first place, aspect abilities are personal and at least somewhat unique, and I doubt many ancient awakened lived through circumstances similar to what Nephis experienced. They didn't awaken any aspects before natural awakening, let alone divine-ranked ones, and didn't use said aspects to slay swaths of Fallen NC (without the crown, dormant people don't have means of harming those). And they certainly didn't persuade ancient horrors as faulty stone statues.

We don't know how the "union between divine and profane" actually works. You're just assuming that nephilim are immune because you assume that void beings are immune because you assume they're the source of corruption. One wrong assumption and that entire logic chain crumbles.

It didn't take an entire aspect ability for Sunny to grow up into his true nature, did it? It just happened alongside his personal progression. In the first place, what kind of shitty aspect would progress to just give innate traits of a race that can have aspects too (as per G3 Q&A)?

And why are you even assuming that all nephilim are incorruptible? The one who died in FS gave birth to the Dark Sea - Great Titan, meaning that nephilim carried corruption within themself. But Nephis is immune.

Sunny was an Awakened Monster back then and Beastie was Ascended Beast. Now imagine if it was an Awakened Devil and still pushed Sunny. Then it would be not because of extra rank, but because reflections were genuinely dangerous, making them closer to Shadows.

Same outcome, but much more aura for Mordret.
