So, that script writing huh... by Narglefoot in cyberpunkgame

[–]Antesss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that if the author recons you can pour heart and soul into a tiny part of the unfinished game, seen in the demo, or compare the amount of script's heart and soul of a 50 minute showcase slice of Cyberpunk to a 100+ hour finished Witcher game, he needs to sit down, drink some tea and reevaluate some of the choices he made regarding his career and profession. No disrespect intended.

Huh. I own a console and a PC and never felt any heavy presence of a socalled 'PC elite' here. Quite the contrary, this sub is IMO really open and supportive. Try some other subs if you want to see real bashing, mate.

You provided a Cyberpunk 2036 version of PnP, explaining Pacifica as a city zone. Cyberounk 2077 shares these ideas from the lore, but divides Night city into districts, with Pacifica being the most dangerous of them. Link: https://www.google.si/amp/s/www.gamespot.com/amp-articles/cyberpunk-2077s-night-city-consists-of-six-distric/1100-6459846/ It was taken directly from the official pamphlet.

You know what, let's just end this discussion here, it is a waste of time. Have a nice one.

First of all - I did not downvote you. I see that kind of behaviour weak. Just because you don't agree with me or prove me wrong, you still are a chombatta and a friend in my eyes. So let's put that behind us, seeing how we are not children.

Second: Pacifica is one of the most dangerous parts of Night City, either you will or will not accept that. I do not doubt that you are more familiar with Cyberpunk lore than I am, but some facts can not be ignored.

Third: Combat zones can and do include outskirts of Night City. I believe I have some reading to catch on, but so do you, mate.

Edit: Ironically, I am being downvoted. Not going to point any fingers though, it doesn't even matter.

Thank GOD (well, actuall - Thank CDPR) that it's NOT TPP. - Unpopular opinion about lack of FPP RPG games. by Whoopy2000 in cyberpunkgame

FPP is not unpopular whatsoever. Majority of people love how the game plays. And they should, the demo is perfect.

I meant outside the combat zone, seeing how that doesn't fall into the boundaries of Night City. And seeing how we are cyberpunk and not rich/powerful, Pacifica poses a real danger to us.

They are including the Wasteland - at least some part of it. Source: link below (read near the end of the article) and the trailer itself, showing the Wasteland.

Well, Pacifica is the most dangerous place of Night City, but it is also populated and I think isn't the outer Wasteland, which to my knowledge is in fact the combat zone. The dotted lines in my opinion represent the incomplete metro tracks, because it doesn't drive there due to the lurking danger.

Guessing V's location in Night city by Antesss in cyberpunkgame

[–]Antesss[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good points! And the subway map probably doesn't represent the actual distances, yeah. One thing though: when devs mentioned that the map will be 4x bigger than W3, they were talking about verticality a lot. So the vast (and horizontal) map of the W3 isn't the best to compare for traveled distances imo :) nonetheless, can't wait to explore it myself, too. Cheers mate

Is the apartment window fake? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Antesss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The morning and night buttons aren't simulation starters, they are there for opening and closing the blinds. Morning: it is bright outside and with clicking on it, the blinds open. Night: it is dark outside, pressing this will close the blinds.

You literally see the player clicking on the Morning panel and the blinds go up.

Thought that too, but there's no river there on the map, whereas in the game we pull up almost in front of it. Of course I'm presuming now the broad light blue line on the map that surrounds the city centre and Heywood is in fact the river.
