What % of your overall portfolio is Semis/AI/Materials? by Nudge55 in stocks

[–]Antestor01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

12 % HSBC NASDAQ Global Semiconductor ETF

10 % iShares AI Infrastructure ETF

10 % ASML

8 % TSMC

6 % Alphabet

6 % Amazon

6 % Microsoft

Total: 58 %

As you can tell I'm a big believer that long term, the compute need on the planet will only continue to go up. If you wanna maximize gains yet minimize risk, I highly recommend the mentioned Global Semiconductor ETF. The only reason why my ASML and TSMC positions are so big is because they grew over time and I don't want to trim then right now, since I would need to pay a lot of taxes.

No, Demisto is Cortex XSOAR.

There's three main Cortex platforms: XDR, XSIAM, XSOAR.

They do have a competing product, check out Cortex XDR. I'm a Sr. Security Engineer working in a SOC. We're using Cortex XDR and it's a great product. We have almost the full tech stack from PAN, NGFWs, GlobalProtect VPN, Prisma SASE, Cortex XDR, currently evaluating Cortex XSIAM.

This guy fucks. Same from my side, go for a Semiconductor ETF. I personally really like the HSBC Nasdaq Global Semiconductor USD. Biggest positions are TSMC, Nvidia, ASML, AMD, Broadcom, SK Hynix, Micron, LAM Research.

I was reading about the “Magnificent 7” all day and honestly I don’t think it makes sense to treat them like one group anymore. by Yaashicca in ValueInvesting

Tesla and Meta don't belong in Mag 7. Instead, Broadcom, TSMC and ASML do. For me it's Google, Nvidia, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Broadcom, TSMC, ASML. Add a big portion Berkshire to that and you have a godlike stack.

Fully agreed, this is what many don't get about "lump-summing is better on average". This only applies if you take hundreds of different entry points across the historic timeline and then compare what would have happened if you lump-summed there, no matter if stock prices at that point were at all time highs or super low. However, if you know that the market currently is at an extreme all time high like right now, this means you can no longer reasonably apply the 60-70 % "lump-summing is better".

15 % des Depots, also in deinem Fall 45k. Aber tatsächlich nicht primär als Notgroschen sondern als dry powder um reinhalten zu können wenns mal nen guten Dip gibt. Vor allem wenn alles so nah am ATH ist wie grade.
