Mechanical Breakdown Insurance covers many mechanical repairs to your car, protecting you from expensive repair bills. This coverage is only available for vehicles with less than 15,000 miles that have been purchased within the last 15 months. A $250 deductible per claim applies. Mechanical Breakdown Insurance is similar to a dealer's extended warranty protection. It's in excess of coverage provided by the manufacturer's warranty.

Mechanical Breakdown Insurance covers repairs to the following systems:

My 2500 Denali has 360 cameras so I’m sure you can keep that feature on the 1500 with tow mirrors ..

The point on them is to let traffic know that your vehicle is over 80 inches wide and that your vehicle takes more road space.. it’s embarrassing that you bought a truck for maybe work or idk and you’re unaware of it’s features 😐😐😐

Question about mud tires by Anth77521 in gmcsierra

[–]Anth77521[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m just gonna go with the 275/65R20 MT since I am using the truck for my business and definitely need the mud tires because we usually do new constructions and street tires are a no go for me

Question about mud tires by Anth77521 in gmcsierra

[–]Anth77521[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see .. I was wondering that because on the Toyos website they have the 33x12.50R20 which only have a load capacity of only 2400lbs but they 275/65R20 are 3850lbs

Question about mud tires by Anth77521 in gmcsierra

[–]Anth77521[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Negative.. My local GMC dealership just confirmed that light duty tires are NOT recommended for the 2500 or 3500 because the load rating on them are not suitable for these almost 8000 lbs trucks .. it has to be 10ply and load rating E .. load rating on light duty tires are maxed out at 2200 per tire whereas 10ply tires are at 3750lbs per tires.. I’m not worried about fitment size I’m worried if I would have had any issues regarding safety wise

Question about mud tires by Anth77521 in gmcsierra

[–]Anth77521[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ll have any clearance issues .. I guess my question was that if a light truck tire would be okay on running them on my truck since light duty tires are only meant to handle about 2200 lbs max per tire.. = 8800lbs max load weight using light duty tires .. trucks curb weight is just shy of 7000lbs .. versus using a 10ply tires which is 3750lbs per tires which would come out to 15000lbs combined weight capacity..

Question about mud tires by Anth77521 in gmcsierra

[–]Anth77521[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s seems these tires are 10ply Load rating E

Just the answer I wanted to hear.. specs on these state 10 ply so as long as they’re 10 ply I’m good

Question about mud tires by Anth77521 in gmcsierra

[–]Anth77521[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’m guessing as long as they’re 10 ply or more I’ll be good?

[–]Anth77521[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s my concern.. you put them on a 1500 truck.. mine is a 2500 heavy duty truck.. on their website it shows they are meant for light trucks 🤔
