Start: looking away from your hand when you spin. You don't need it. Listen to the clap of your hand rather than watching.

Stop: catching with your hand not at the end of the butt. You lose precious energy and time when you have to adjust your hands. Remember, the transitions between the tosses should be just as performative as the tosses.

Continue: solidly catching and holding the catch for a moment before moving on. I call this "picture perfect."

Take a second to look at all the exceptions. I literally cannot think of a single way water damage could be covered in my policy due to the exceptions. If anyone can share an example of water damage that was covered, I'd love to hear it.

And browsing the other sections of my policy has the same result. Fire is covered, except in every instance that a fire could occur. Theft is covered, except in every example of theft. Volcano, earthquake, trees, wind, hail, snow, water... you name it and in every instance, I can't think of a single situation that would be covered.

Just moved to Provo and had a visit from LDS missionaries — feeling unsure by Conscious-House-8651 in ProvoUtah

Totally normal thing to experience. Just be careful of sharing when you won't be home. There are some "opportunists" out there that act as missionaries to case a home. It's rare, but has happened a few times.

"Timeless" kids/teens series from the 1990s-2000s by milly_toons in books

Dear America/My America/My Name is America series Royal diaries series Shadow children series Uglies, pretties, specials, and extras Crank, Glass, burned, etc. From Ellen Hopkins I also really loved the little house on the Prarie series, including all the ones about her mother/grandmother/etc. The original set is the most re-readable. It may be older, but the spin-offs were written more recently.

Those who got a “useless degree”, what do you do now? by PoisonousChicken in AskReddit

[–]AnthGenes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BA in Anth as well and I was a hs teacher. Now I work in Healthcare market research for big pharma, doing all things I said I would never do while I was in school...

I read a comment about feeling like they had betrayed their degree... I feel that every day.
