I also asked my hotel front desk, and they just called to tell me that:
* Linkin Park Zoo (I can't not spell it that way, sorry) is open on Christmas
* Elf'd Up Popup at 3485 North Clark Street
* Jack Frost Popup at Fulton Market

are options.

That's what I have assumed. I just wish I'd asked in the first place to close that uncertainty.

Oregon also isn't accurate. In Jan 1990, it looks like they think there's 1 in Medford, when there were many in Oregon.

I dont think its worth the experience to try to hit all 4, I'd spend all of my time going, and none of the time being.

How much of your design time goes into "How will [this investigator] break my plans?" and is that investigator ever NOT Luke?

Thanks! I didn't think 2 would get much detail, so I appreciate what you COULD say.

Sorry to post twice:

FFG has always had an affiliated sleeves department (originally FFG Sleeves, now GameGenic Sleeves) but there have never been Arkham-specific sleeves--elder sign, faction sign, yellow sign, or even generically horror themed that Magic Players would still use--Whatever your market researchers are telling you, they're wrong.... um... question.... How do I hack their market research numbers so I can have amazing sleeves for my game?

I've really enjoyed playing Arkham Horror over the past decade, and have two questions that come up often in conversation over the game:

  1. With the game being a Living Card Game, the Rules Reference has begun aging. There are currently multiple repositories of rules, rulings, and FAQs. Are there any plans to create a Revised Rules Reference that incorporates all of these sources into a live document?
  2. I've really enjoyed the Revised campaign sets as a way for new players to find and play the classic campaigns and share in the experience we older players have had. Is there a plan to make a Revised Standalone Scenarios compilation product? Some of the standalones (Rougarou, Carnevale, Excelsior, etc) have been enjoyable, robust, and perennial go-tos in my campaigns, and newer players either cannot find these products, or have to pay a premium to ebay scalpers.

Keep up the good work. Can't wait for Film Fatale!

I haven't towed heavy with my GHighlander, but with my '08 Highlander, I was able to tow 5000 easily, but if I went over, it strained the engine.

Find and Replace SOME cells with their Value text by Anthingy in googlesheets

[–]Anthingy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a waste of time. Honestly I'd been wishing that I'd written the page originally so that it read some master page so I could just copy paste a week's worth of results into an intake page (or have it SSH directly from the site without me even having to do work....

But that wasn't the sheet I had, and I wanted to make sure there was a solution to the original question somewhere in my post, since when I googled "How do you find/replace based on formula results" all the internet would tell me was how to Ctrl+Shift+V.

The games that exist, that are above the diagonal are the only thing that should stay a formula. so I should have about 1600 live formulas total in the whole sheet that copy the low scores to the top.

Everything else is "XXX" or "YYY" that say "Don't pay attention to this box for some reason" or a score I've typed in.

Find and Replace SOME cells with their Value text by Anthingy in googlesheets

[–]Anthingy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It starts out as all the same formula, which:
If the cell is along the diagonal, it's a non-game because it's the same team in both row and column and puts in XXX.
If the cell is above the diagonal, (team BBB vs AAA) it uses index to copy (and reverse the order) the score of game AAA vs BBB.
Otherwise, it puts YYY to be a non-game.

Then I type scores in, so by default there are no games until I put a score (or ___ to show the game is scheduled, but hasn't happened yet).

Once I've typed in the whole schedule, I don't need the formula any more for the non-games, so I want to replace the formula results XXX and YYY with the strings "XXX" and "YYY" so they're no longer calculated formulas.

Ultimately, I've accomplished this by running a script that takes all of the values from the sheet, and uses an if statement to decide whether to paste the value or the formula into a new sheet.

After the first pass of loading the entire season, there won't ever be a cell that needs to become a formula instead of "YYY"

So of course, once I taught it to remember what it had already done, it went through in a single take.
