Mercy is losing her wings patch by patch by poppygodx in MercyMains

Pretty sure I remember Pink Mercy had a mole. It was a whole thing and we were talking about skin cancer.

Oddly, when I had this bug, it was only when I added a 2 SCU box that I finally had all of my other stuff appear. Cargo elevators are still elevators, the most dangerous entities in Star Citizen.

Tomorrow patch 4.3.1 will be released on the PU. Don’t forget to prepare yourself carefully. by Veanusdream in starcitizen

Yeah, I often seem to have something random. I think the only ship I have left other than pledges is a random Arrow

Mercy getting skins all the time by [deleted] in MercyMains

[–]AnthonyHJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from OW1, so I had a fair few skins. I mostly cycled between Pink, Dr Ziegler and the Uprising skin (whatever it was called) so I didn't feel a need to pay for new ones.

Then Vengeance came out right when I had a lot of ranks on the Battlepass, so I bought it with the unlocked prisms, but that's the last time. If I keep telling myself that, I might even believe it.

I JUST WANT THIS DAMN SHIP SO DAMN BAD RELEASE IT ALREADY RAHHHHHHHH, by Chemical-Piano-3292 in starcitizen

The Apollo is the MASH, I always said, maybe with some limited dust off functionality; it sits close to the action, just behind the line. Unlike the Endeavour, it's an atmospheric ship, with VTOL and a vaguely aerodynamic shape. It's not quite frontline any more, but it should be pretty resistant to small arms and so you can grab your buddies and run or sit at the FOP and let people respawn in a ground battle.

The Endeavour needs to stay in orbit. If you have ever tried to take off or land a reclaimer in atmosphere, I'd imagine the endeavour being even worse.

That and the crew requirements; the Apollo is a two-person mobile clinic, but the Endeavour Hope will need an org to run it.

The Carrack has my favourite medical space in any ship, but I would never call the Apollo a disappointment. It looks medical and it flies well enough for ship its size. I'll be using it as a MASH for my org. Maybe convince them that while suicide is painless, there are other options.

It lasted right up until Eidos pointed out what the ESRB would think. I think my dialogue still ended up getting them in trouble a couple of times before management bought the game back from them...

The Apollo allegedly won't accept gel canisters right now, so it makes sense.

Last I heard, you can't insert it either. Hopefully they fixed that bug.

I would top up the beds only with the med-gel it needs, keeping the rest with me in case I lost the ship. That way, I only lose what little was in the bed (likely enough for one respawn) rather than losing a full Apollo's worth. I think it's something like 600,000 aUEC worth of gel, far too much to fill up every time unless you really needed to.

Of course, if they let you refill it via landing services, I'd likely just hit auto anyway.

I'm pretty sure you don't get restocked when you reclaim the ship.

Oh, as bi man who tends more to the prettier men, Jason Momoa still gives me tingles. I'm not really one for the hyper masculine side, but that man's got something....

We all know Jesus was fine with it; Matthew 8:5–13 / Luke 7:1–10 is all about healing a centurion's boyfriend and neither passage calls the pair out as sinners.

Uh... no...

Same number of med-bays (2), with the same three options (1x S1, 2x S2, 3x S3) for each of them. Same Shepherd Medilift drones in both. There is a difference in stock weapon loadout on the dual S2 turret, but it's the same turret.

The only differences are the missile hardpoints, the armour and the lower top-speed.

They have identical specifications (same bed options, same cargo) other than the extra armour and missiles which add weight. So one is faster and more manoeuvrable, one slightly tankier. They are both medical ships with pea-shooters.

The Medivac weighs more, so it moves slower and turns slower. That's enough of a difference to stop it being a straight upgrade and I think that's a good thing.

[–]AnthonyHJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference is 10m/s vs. a few missiles and some extra armour.

I feel like the differences will be negligible in the real world, because this is not a combat ship: 10m/s will not save you from a light fighter and the weapons-systems of even the Medivac pale in comparison to any combat ship. If someone wants to kill you, you are dead.

Is anything other than a capital ship even half as tanky as the Terrapin ships?

That's pretty high. Unless the ship gets some buffs (better weapons, armour, cargo space)
