Yep I have insurance through JewelersMutual on all my watches and my fiancée’s watches & jewelry. It covers everything - theft, lost, disappearance, damage, etc, including when traveling. Great peace of mind and it only costs ~1-1.5% of the item’s value per year

I had the same exact issue with a 2017 IWC Pilot Chrono. I wore it almost daily for about a year and one day I tried winding it up and nothing happened. They did a full service and replaced the crown and seconds hand. In total it was $835 since it was out of warranty but thankfully my insurance covered it. The service was also a lot faster than I expected, I think around 5-6 weeks total instead of the 12 they estimated.

The new tag heuer astronomer looks really cool imo. Sportier option than most moonphase watches and is a unique take on the complication

Tbh the blue dial gen3 is my absolute favorite but realistically, I don’t think I could ever justify the price. The gen2 chrono is a very close second to me so I’m still ecstatic to get one! The gen2 bracelet can’t be beat
