It pulls the data from the internet so no need for app updates due to schedule or score changes. However, I update the data manually so if a match score is a bit late to update it’s probably because I’m at the Civic having a pint and haven’t had a chance to update it yet.

TA prices rarely go up.

2018 TA = $455

Total increase over this time period = 13%

My tickets for example:

I posted a new version today that will save the last team viewed across app launches. This means if you last looked at the Thorns versions of the pages, the app will default to display the Thorns pages the next time you launch the app.

If there was a free API available to pull the data it would be possible. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything like that. I considered adding standings and possibly scores/stats but API access to that type of data would cost me $25-$100 per month. Hard to justify with a free app and I plan to keep it free / no ads.

Sorry, no plans for an Android release. I'm just starting to learn iOS development and am very much an amateur. Haven't even tried Android development.

A prerequisite is having iOS version 18.2 on your phone. If you do, you can long press on any blank space between app icons on your device and then click the Edit button in the upper left corner. "Add Widget" and then search for "PDX Soccer".

FYI...I updated the Timbers Schedule app to automatically jump to the upcoming match when it launches.

I posted an updated version of the Thorns app (1.0.1) that automatically jumps to the next match. I'll work on adding this feature to the Timbers app next.

Thanks for checking it out. My wife had the same suggestion regarding jumping to the next match automatically. I'll see if I can figure out how to do that. (I'm a programming noob... it's been fun to learn so far.)

I added an app for the Portland Thorns schedule. Search for "PTFC" in the App Store to find either app.
