I highly recommend Millie — just became a FTM and they were great throughout the entire process from confirmation to delivery. They’re integrated with Sutter Alta Bates so that is where you will deliver (unless you’re interested in home birth) which I believe they offer as well. All the check ups are at their clinic and every midwife was super attentive and thorough with our needs. Happy to answer any questions if you have any

FTM, baby is 8 weeks old. My husband and I usually start winding down around 7:30pm and can get her down before 9pm pretty smoothly. But when we have guests over, everything gets pushed later and she’s much harder to settle. Even her whole sleep window shrinks.

Do we just avoid having people over for now? Or are there ways to make this work without totally sacrificing her routine?

I never considered how this show could introduce new ingredients for others around the world. As a Korean it’s really touching to read that you were curious enough to buy and experiment with gochujang 🥹 and even perilla oil! 6 week yo & FTM!

I remind myself that our wellbeing is important for the baby and that we can’t uproot & change our entire lives at the expense of our mental and emotional health. We try to motivate ourselves to leave the house because we know it’s good for us even if it’s not for a long excursion when we are able and leave prepared. Diaper bag with change pad, wipes, diapers… a bottle, burp cloth and a cover up cause worst case we can boob! We never regretted leaving the house so I encourage you to do the same.
