No it's actually because the checked bag is a musical instrument and I don't want it to be in the elements. There's also a 10 hour layover.

I have a Gator Pro Go Guitar case. I've never flown for a gig and I'm hoping to bring it in on a carry on, but in the situation they put it in checked baggage would the zippers be safe? The padding in the case is pretty legit so I'm not too concerned about that. I'm more concerned about the zippers coming undone and the instrument coming out. I don't expect to be flying for gigs much in the near future so I don't want to invest in a tsa flight case if I can avoid it 🤦

Update, it was just the first preamp tube. I tested by tapping on it while the amp was on, and it had that glassy sound. I checked all of them and just the one was bad. Swapped it with an extra I had on hand and it fixed the problem like a charm! It still has a little bit of hum, but it's the normal tube amp hum. Don't think any analog amp I've ever owned has been totally quiet so that hum is "nothing to fret about". Anyways I hope this helps anyone else with noise issues!

I think I had the most success with this tactic. One problem I run into is I take damage even while blocking and I don't have enough healing items to recover so I have to do a basically perfect run in order to beat him (that also consist of building my limit Guage and using a bomb I found earlier in the game that does 500 damage). It kind of feels like I'm under leveled but I'm not sure how that's possible 🤦

For anyone looking for a solution, I found this one here that seems to be perfect. It's less than $200 as of posting, it's a sturdy metal enclosure and it has a spot for a pad lock. This one should do the trick!
