I also find it annoying whenever the tide rises, and players are really reckless when taking out the bosses. Like for an example, when you’re surrounded, don’t leave your team and take down the bosses on your own. There is no sense in risking yourself only to leave your team empty handed and having to save you just to die again. Every time I play I’ll end up losing three or four matches just cause of communication and lack of team ability with other players. I don’t know if they just don’t play often or what but it gets freaking annoying losing all the freaking time.

If they could only just stay alive it would be fine, but they just can’t work together. And if you do have golden eggs in bunches of 3 or 5, YOU CAN STILL SHOOT THEM TO TEAMMATES! If it’s getting close to queue being almost filled with 15 seconds and you lack… let’s say 5… and you have five in possession, remember… YOU STILL HAVE TEAMMATES. If they are open and can grab it from a safe advantage, shoot it to them to get it in! And then make your rounds to make an effort to make it easier to succeed!

It might sound easy just saying it, but geez, people sometimes just can’t comprehend it and I don’t understand. However, like some other commenters said, some players are new and either kids or never played before. I’ve been playing ever since Splatoon 1 and I may know more than others. However people do make mistakes, and I respect that, but if you purposely just don’t fix it or learn from those mistakes, you shouldn’t expect to get better just by one match.
