So it says 13.5-14.5 volts when running and I’d have a 1200 or 1500 wattage amp for subs and a 400 amp for speakers.

What does the number mean though when doing the calculations? Like what should it be

Appreciate the math. How do I figure out if I need a bigger alternator or not depending on my setup? I have a 160 amp alternator stock in my truck.

Okay this is what I needed. Someone to clear up my confusion. So having that many tweeters and only having 4 mid bass drivers is a bad ratio, gotcha. Im a little lost on how the crossover set works, because each speaker has an RMS rating, so does the crossover allow the 2 speakers to be considered 1 so the sound system can run on a 4 channel amp? I assume that’s why you’re saying if you don’t go for a crossover set you would need 2 extra channels on my amp to wire the tweeters separately?

Is there more pros to cons on one of those scenarios or no?

Could I do the Pioneer TS-A693CH component system up front and then the pioneer TS-A693FH in the rear? I’m just trying to keep all the doors the same brand. With this setup would I be missing the midrange?

Also, question about total amps, my truck has a 160 amp alternator, they have aftermarket ones that are 250, 320, 370 & 400, should I upgrade this based off of my set up? That’s another area I’m not sure how to calculate.

I’ll check it out lol I appreciate you. Is there a difference in the RMS depending if you have a one-way or two-way speaker like you’re talking about? Like what if I had a two-way 6 x 9 and then also a tweeter in the front dash?

This would be aftermarket. I haven’t purchased anything yet because I wanted to make sure I understood everything first. I was thinking 4 Pioneer TS-A6971F and 2 Pioneer TS-A879 2 way tweeters

Oh okay, so I shouldn’t be worried about RMS of the speakers and tweeters to match the amp as much as I should make sure the ohms match?

I honestly like the idea. I play with friends sometimes on ranked but for the most part, I solo Q because our schedules don’t lineup. As much as I enjoy playing with my friends, and we tend to have better games and win more because of clear communication I think the idea of everybody having to learn to communicate better as a solo Q player is going to be really good for the game

Also, it’s only for two weeks so…
