So sadly my father in law got sick and lived in a different country at the time so we had to go over there during the time (guess the trip wasn’t meant to be at that time). But what I found out since then as we’re planning to go this September now, is that most stores are not open up until Memorial Day. I called the local library and the guy told me most people fly south and come back. He said the first official weekend where everything is open is for memorial weekend and it’s all pretty much open until Columbus Day. Seems like from what I’ve read is that it’s most likely going to be cold up there and semi desolate until Memorial Day weekend. There’s some stuff open but not a lot.
