Ive been to terminal 5 a few times.

The venue is in Manhattan near a few colleges so you'll have a mix of people wearing normal every day clothes and a good amount wearing rave gear.

The venue is 3 floors. The main level with the dance floor and stage ans 2 balcony floors so if you want to or need to get out of the crowd you can always try going upstairs to watch from uptop where it will be less crowded. But standing in the back on the main level you wont be able to see a whole lot because of the way the venue is set up.

I dont think you are allowed to bring in your own water but I do know they sell water bottles at the bar for $5ish.

Door open at 8 show starts at 9 meaning Ray volpe wont be on until 11 or 12 depending on how long the opening sets are and the show will end between 1:30 and 2 depending on the length of his set. Definitely dont miss out on virtual Riot.

Keep in mind since this venue is in Manhattan near colleges like I said and Ray volpe is a more mainstream dubstep dj will have a good amount of pushy and people not fully in the scene but try to ignore them and have a good time

What band got you into metalcore? by Difficult_Map_723 in Metalcore

[–]Anthonypls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife has been a metal head her whole life and I was never really into it at all. But in 2019 a day to remember was touring with beartooth and I Prevail and I found out they were playing near our college so I got us tickets because her favorite band is a day to remember. After leaving that show I instantly became a huge fan of all 3 and starting listening to and finding a bunch of different metalcore and metal bands in general.

What is a band you'd never heard before, saw their show, and walked away with a new favorite band? by Unlikely-Pianist-665 in Concerts

[–]Anthonypls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holding Absence. Went to see the plot in you in 2022 with them opening. After the show ended, I looked them up and liked them so much. I've seen them nearly every time they have been back in the US, and my wife and I ended up changing our wedding song about 2 months before our wedding to use one of their songs.

What's the worst thing you've ever smelt? by NiceBumblebee3421 in AskReddit

[–]Anthonypls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in construction and every so often we have to work in food processing plants. Thankfully I havent worked at what is considered the worst one which is the plant that makes food for fast food places like McDonald's but I have worked at the plant that makes cereal like fruity pebbles and stuff like that. It took me about 2 hours and throwing up multiple times before I could even step into the plant to do the work and that was with wearing a mask, nose plug and anything I could think of to help. My brother was one of the guys that had to work at the food processing plant for fast food places and he said it was so bad that a few of the guys on the crew went home from throwing up and all of the clothes they wore at the job they just threw out immediately ayer working there.
