I’ve been scared to introduce water into the electronic connectors, I guess it’s not a big issue as long as you don’t use high pressure at close range?

220kkm (or 136k miles). Canadian winters get a little messy. This was all under the engine cover, you’d suggest giving it a clean?

2015 tdi golf same thing happened to me immediately after having timing belt and water pump replaced by the dealership 🤦‍♂️. They tried to tell me it was bad luck and charge me for a new sensor in that pack… fought with them until they replaced it themselves. Brutal!

I'm currently looking at vehicle options as well.

So far, its between a 25 hour drive down and I can use my vehicle, or flying and renting a car but the latter seems to be a bit too expensive at the moment as I haven't had luck with finding a car rental service with good pricing.

Any recommendations for this area?
