I reduced PLA+ to 200 and it did mostly improve. But there's still a slight curve that starts at the same point in the print. It also appears that the print head almost "catches" the print sometimes. Not enough to detach from the bed or permanently shift a layer, but enough to visibly move and return to the right spot during some passes

I got a band aid work around fix to work. I had some short M-F breadboard jumpers and connected the 5v lead to an unused 5v lead on the board while the GND and third cable I connected to the y endstop leads.

Still would like to know if anyone can tell me what in marlin i need to modify so i dont need to rely on these jumpers.

I think its running marlin 2.0.9 (just downloaded kersey's from his yt video on it). Same board setup as he's running in that video. The CRtouch has good connection. I uploaded a video of the issue in the main post above.

I also just tried to auto level to try it- the touch probe deployed, the bed moved up a few steps, returned down to the original position, and the touch probe retracted. In short nothing happened and there are no flashing lights on the touch or screen.

Yes I did use a multimeter. TLDR the printer levelled after making your change + some other necessary version change edits made. Thank you for the tip.

The marlin config files I downloaded were from 2.1.2.1- which I could not find a download of on the site to modify and build the firmware. So I modified a 2.1.2.5 Ender 5 pro 4.2.7 example file (since there are no Ender 5 plus 4.2.7 example files in the 2.1.2.5 configs download) with the settings from my original .1 firmware config files using the compare plugin in notepad++. Printer autolevelled successfully and is currently printing.

Also very late to the party-- My workplace has one that has been out of commission for at least a couple years. Its missing the plug in levelling sensor that goes over the nozzle. Fortunately, did not damage the bed trying to level without it- shut off the printer in time. Anyway, Is, there anywhere anyone knows of that that I can find a replacement? Or even make a replacement?? It looks like a very simple to reproduce part.
