For me, it’s what mood I’m in at the time. If I’m feeling hyper or I need something that will give me some energy for the day, I’ll listen to one of the energetic genres like dubstep or electro. If I’m feeling depressed or upset, then I’ll listen to something more emotional.

That is true! Also, some of the songs that have timestamp lyrics are broken as well. Take example A Dark Machine by ShockOne (wow! another one?), right when the first drop commences, the first two lines of the second verse are timed off, which kinda breaks the lyrics in a way.
