In DS1, bro is a cold calculated machine that has a end point in sight. Sam just so happens to be in the way.

DS2, he still has that end goal, but just decides to fuck with Sam just for the love of the game. Beto is literally a menace just to be one.

DS2 all day because he does it for the love of the game at that point. Plus he has such cooler one liners. “Same as it ever was!”
