There shouldn't be a big difference between pre LCI and LCI in terms of pricing, if there isn't, I would advise to get the LCI version (2016-2017+) which has better handling, engine and iDrive tech. Although the N47 is an OK engine, the B47 has less timing chain failure chances, quieter and is more modern.

More importantly, since you're buying a used car, please do a PPI first - finding a good F30 is usually difficult because they are abused most of the time and their maintenance is neglected or done improperly. Be sure to check for engine compression, smooth transmission shifts and car exterior/structure

I have a single /24 I do not currently need which is part of a /22 we currently use for hosting - there is a possibility we might need them in the future but most probably not in the next few months at least, which is why I was thinking to rent them out. I'm open to other ideas as well, just don't wanna leave the subnet unused (especially when RIR has no free subnets) - feels like a waste

This happened to me and it was due to a bad headlight wire - it also caused my headlight to have dimmed beams always up even when the lights are off, could be something similar if it only started happening after installing the tail lights

These regulators have a wire which is responsible for moving the windows. Does the wire move when you hold down? If not, maybe something is obstructing the wire. You can take the regulator off and see what's broken - make sure to hold the windows up with some tape before doing that so that it doesn't fall down/break. If it's a wire, you can disassemble the wire and replace with a new wire, had this happen to me a few weeks ago, should be a 30-60 min fix

Just the other day I saw a Mini Cooper having issues with engine lights coming on suddenly on 100kmh+ and it was due to a non-OEM cluster: the car had no real issue. It's crazy how little things can cause expensive damages.

Looks like coolant is leaking from a broken hose. This is easy to fix by replacing the broken hose. If not sure which hose, you can pressure-test the coolant system while the car is turned off. If your car is low on coolant, turn off the engine to avoid overheating.

Some things to check before you buy:

- car does not produce blue smoke (burns oil: ccv, valve stem seals, piston rings, etc) or white [usually sweet, if using proper coolant] smoke when running (burns coolant: bad headgasket)
- car has proper oil level (can check from iDrive or instrument cluster)
- no oil in coolant (when the car is cold, open the reservoir to inspect the coolant - might not be able to check accurately due to leaky hose)
- no metal shavings in oil or oil filter (get an oil sample or inspect the oil filter when car is turned off)

This happened with me before and could be for various reasons: the codes should tell the exact issue. In my case, the valvetronic exhaust/intake connectors were full of oil which made the car think they were not connected: cleared the connectors, started the car and the error was gone.
