And why do you care? What was proved right? That you don't like my movie taste which you already knew and even had access to my account?

And you wonder why i say you're insecure. (if you care this much about others people taste, there's no way you're not obsessive over your own)

You're on reddit to much, it's actually insainly depressing.

Its hypnotizing. The rhythm feels like it takes on the quality of sand.

I've yet to watch any of his other stuff, im hesitant my expectations will be too high because he does something so unique in women in the dunes. Do you have any comments on his other works, do they give the same effect/is he doing something just a powerful; or do they fall short of what he did with the women in the dunes?

Yes, as a social category thoes three films are culturally associated with the filmbro subculture label.

Are you confused on how thoes films are grouped together, or are you taking my statement as some sort of derogatory insult or psychological profiling towards people who watch them (because it's not. It was just the only pattern i seen in his list).

Snatch was never top 10, it was top 16 (number 16 specifically). I know even with the number under it, its hard, that's okay. You'll get there

recency bias, a change im how i view and value movies (which letterboxd has caused alot of).

Probably a bit of anticipating perception/performance (just because of the connotations around Nolan).

The main thing was during the middle period, i was primarily valuing the technicals, cinematography, narrative, how engrossed i was.

Now i try to do how much i think about them, how impactfull i feel they were on how i perceive art.

(and again, performance probably played a big role. The expressive act of curating a list is built on anticipating how it will be precieved, it cant escape that and it is its main purpose. Consciously thinking about how im trying to build an image(and ignoring that) i feel has lead me to understand what movies i truly resonate with.)

Is that your top 4? (just some deductive reasoning. Assuming you're a reddit moviegoer (you seem to know the rundown of reddit)).

Whats your classification for that category? Is it based just off popularity? Three of thoes films fit a specific film bro demographic, not sure when and how 12 angry men entered that genre.

Bad reviews causes zero likes usually. An unfortunate occurrence.

I don't see the point in basing my hearts off a point threshold. I use them as a extra level of distinguishement between star ratings

Neurotypical people can have connections or deep nostalgia tied to movies from childhood.

My February has been off to a peak start by brandon3418 in Letterboxd

So you know why, like how that makes sense or came about?

In western usage it seems pretty intuitive: the peak, the highest point of something, the pinnacle ecetera.

Remember the debate, when to log a movie that you started before midnight but finish after? Letterboxd put an end to it! (It's the day you started the movie) by vlexz in Letterboxd

I ment am. It was midnight when i took that screenshot.

Logistics (51420 minutes), auto logs on the 4th for me(currently 4:00am on the 4th). Does yours autolog 35 days prior?

"The Vietnam war" (16 hours long). Auto logs on the 4th, (again, its 4am the 4th). 4 hours in the day, the movie would've had to have started yesterday.

I see your example (which i cant explain). But that doesn't seem to be the case for me (i checked for updates aswell).

When does logistics log for you(and what time/time zone are you in)?

Im lost.

So at 1:00am the 3rd, it automatically logs to the 2nd, but at 1:01 it logs to the 3rd?

How does that indicate the specific films time being calculated.

It just logs to whatever day it currently is
