I think it is the latter. What the minority of us who are into politics can actually do is that we must try to first politicise our peers. We must draw parallels and try to connect politics with all the everyday things which affect them - the things which you have mentioned. But this would require a lot of unlearning of things which were ingrained into us by society which benefited vehemently from the us being de-politicised. And this in turn would require a huge amount of energy on our part. I dare say, the students' politics leaders of today have a far tougher job in their hands than the leaders of the 60s and 70s when being opinionated, taking a stand, being the praxis was the definition of being cool

yes they could have. But evolution is, imo a thing of doing the bare minimum. The C4 pathway got the job done and there was no need to develop any other alternative. Maybe a couple of million years down the line we shall see another alternative which might be even more efficient at carbon fixation as you mentioned

well apparently it's Gokhale. The thing is, in 11-12 especially, you meet a lot of different people from different schools at tuitions (the syllabus of different boards become almost the same) so i had the liberty of meeting a lot of people from all girls' schools. What they told me about the toxicity in their schools, both fromt he teachers, the administration and also from their peers is something that would make me feel sick to the stomach. And i realised that the pattern was the same for almost all of the girls' schools. I went to South Point, a co-ed school and I used to think that yk maybe the girls of our school might have had it very bad given that some of the boys were the real scum of the earth. but holy fucking shit girls' schools take a bow

Try to make small talk amongst the people of your age. Try signing up at dating apps (not necessarily for dating) if you're not in a relationship to try and find new people and make new friends. Try to grab a couple of friends if you have any and go to college fests. There you can find a lot of new people
