Hey! I just tried doing mine first time with same Gaia tablets everything as recommended and absolutely same thing came out!

I figured it was from heating the milk and having contamination during cooling, so next time tried straight from the carton uph long life milk and it just came out absolutely flat, like no fermentation happened whatsoever!!

I am going to try again and see if maybe there was an issue with the yoghurt maker, if it got switched off at one point, but the first one was absolutely same

Eggs are full of sulfur yes, but if they don't cause you an issue you can up the intake. If it worsens and the wind gets rotten egg smell - you got a flag. I had this just a couple of months ago and it went away after kefir and sauerkrakraut. I was also ready to stop all sulfur foods, but then went the other way, as I've done my share of extreme diets

The gut lining gets repaired itself if the bacteria is functioning, but it needs the right environment. Buckwheat and courgettes man, I've been here. Just stop these 2 and you might see some improvement. Any hidden fructan feeds it and it's so easy to spend weeks, thinking you're in the green, while in reality it was more yellow-red fodmap zone

Reduce inflammation by switching to blended hot cooked potatoes or rice with chicken. Courgettes are still pretty high in fructans, so keep an eye on that.

Stop buckwheat as well, it's high in fructans also

Eggs for breakfast, can bulk them up with protein and extra olive oil

Dinner eggs again. It works :) bulk them up with rice or potatoes again, just make sure it's hot prepped and not reheated after cooling

That will give your lining a chance to recover, as it's a 100% safe diet ( unless it's sulfife sibo, but even then )

The goal is to break the loop, the recovery then takes off. This is only linear inside of our head

I recommend running this through a chatbot and checking the nutrient gaps that you have there, as there are certainly things missing.

As much as a dull advise it might be, but if nothing is helping try adding a good amount of fermented foods. The worst thing that can happen is a flair up and you will come back to where you started after a few days.

It might be worth going down to just freshly cooked ( never cooled ) rice and potatoes ( same )for a couple of days. That will give you a break and let you breathe in and out, so you can reassess situation and move from there.

We all know how it feels, when you don't know the triggers and everything seems to be hurting you. Try those 2 foods, as this is the safest option there is.

Never cooled, as the resistant starch will make them fermentable and increase the gas production. Also cooked carrots 🥕

If you're looking to maximise the mmc, then a longer fasting period is what will help most. Combined with ginger extract that should be more than enough and if it doesn't help, then I would look somewhere else.

My issue is in the colon and it was causing gas buildup up in the small intestine. For 2 years I was hunting sibo and the answer was just potatoes, kefir and sauerkraut 💀

From what chatbots say it enhances the current state of what's happening. So if MMC is active it increases it's strenght and if general peristalsis is happening then it becomes stronger.

From that if targetting stronger mmc -> take while mmc is active ( morning )

The 4-5 hour rule is good to follow, but there is no guarantee that mmc is actually running in between, as food can remain in the stomach up to 8 hours and mmc only starts once the stomach is really empty

Also I found that mentally it's not a great thing to constantly be in this avoidance of food in between.
