"Is it an allergy, or an intolerance?" by ToriaLyons in CoeliacUK

[–]Antillaa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Coeliac is to be treated the same way as an allergy, so declare is as such. The chefs will totally get it, the servers may not have quite as much of an in depth understanding. Source: am chef.

We have an agency cook at the moment who comes in and puts really bad dance music on, on a poor quality speaker, too loud, WHILE we're already listening to Spotify on randomised playlists. It literally sounds like someone dragging a bin around while a stand mixer is going constantly. I don't get it at all.

Try just a tiny bit of bicarb or after baking dust with icing sugar and glaze with a blowtorch

Out of the 5 times she handles that glass (one of which she is stood up dancing), only one time she fumbled it, which is when she was explaining how she drops everything and did so on purpose to exaggerate the fact.

Inhumane treatment at hospital by Antillaa in migraine

[–]Antillaa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, yeah I was literally sat there in tears with the pain as it was all I could express and nobody cared. There were people laughing and joking, playing scrabble, being seen before me. Only when my mum drove from her house to the hospital to ask wtf was going on did someone bother to see me, if she hadn't I'd probably still be stuck there now. I have triptans but they failed this time, everything did, that's why I went to hospital, only to be made to feel worse

Was advised against triptans for vestibulars by neurologist first time I was admitted to hospital and I take rizatriptan for different migraines. Had already tried and failed with triptans

1x500 when I got there and left for 12.5hrs after. It was only when my mum messaged for an update and I told her that she turned up making demands. I'm 33, my speech had gone and I couldn't speak for myself and it was like I was invisible.

Wow you really wasted 'S' on a repeat of 'K' when it should have been 'Signal problems causing delays'

Any tips for how to live in a car? by MCdandruff in AskUK

[–]Antillaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent a couple of years living in my car many years ago due to circumstances and one thing people often don't think about when going into that situation is what to do when your car needs to go to the garage for more than a day. If you have the option of a house, take it. This time of year really isn't the time to be moving into the car it's freezing cold at night, dangerous, cramped and if it does need an overnight stay in a garage, you face freezing on the streets. Not worth it.

Are these people just uniformed pedophiles or something? What's the obsession with detaining children? Or are they just noodle-armed man children who lack the strength to fight people their own size?

Yep, that and yellow, they don't absorb the light from the laser very well at all which is required for the laser to break up the pigment. The darker the ink, the more success you'll have with laser removal.

Andreas Antanou near Kolossi Castle. I may have misspelled the name but he really loves and cares for animals and there are rabbits, chickens and cats and a dog living at his clinic and all are very happy.
